  1. Hi, Scott;

    After you get the information on the models your parts are for, send an email with your ad to editor@gopherstatebuick.org. Marge can put your ad in the June chapter newsletter if she has the ad by May 17th. If you have pictures, you can attach them. They won't appear in the newsletter, but she can send them to everyone in the Gopher State Chapter which she has an e-mail address for. Be sure to include your asking prices,

  3. According to Seventy Years of Buick "...Buick's lightest and lowest priced car was the 4-cylinder Roadster. Designated the Model 23-34, it weighed 2,415 pounds, and cost $865. Buick built 5,768 for domestic sales, but only eight on special order for export. Later in the year, the Model 23-39 Sport Roadster was introduced. This car, which had a production run of 1,971 weighed 2,445 pounds and cost $1,025. It was finished in maroon with red wheels, and buyers had a choice of wood spoke, wire, or disc wheels."

    Neither Seventy Years of Buick nor The Complete Catalog of Buick list any other information concerning standard and optional equipment.

  4. According to the GM Parts Book, there is only one core for 63-65 Rivieras - no difference if it has a/c or not. My car does have a/c.

    It's my understanding that the core is larger than the hole in the firewall, so the hole has to be made bigger, or you have to take it out from inside the car.

  5. Hi, Dick.

    I met you at the BCA National in Rochester in 96 - I was in registration tracking the ROA members attending.

    I don't want to start removing the old one until I have a replacement ready in case mine isn't rebuildable or the radiator shop takes too long. We are having record high temps in Minnesota - seven out of nine days in the 70s - and car season is upon us. I don't want to be hung up with a big chunk of the interior out of the car.
