I've never seen one but it should have been very fast. My dad bought a 1964 rambler new .It was a 2 door hard top. It had a 289 v8 three sp with overdrive They called it twin stick. bucket seats. I was 18 at the time. And yes it was fast.

1940 mercury didn't have the appeal the a forty ford did . but re hot roders could chop the top and make it into a very desirable hot rod.

I think its all what you want . If you had a little Duraglass and some brake work it would make a driver. then maybe a v8 some paint ,a little at a time. someone to make a kitten decal.

I looked at the car lots of work floors were patched lone ago .rear pan of car needs rebuilt . I tried to start it but no go .I think it would start with a little gas .

I was to long island once never again $50 to cross a bridge then get lost and then another toll . $300 trip and end up not getting the car.

My dad had one in green with the 327 when I was about 17 it did run really well but with the pose the rear would try pass you when you got on it. not at all good in the rain ask me how I know.

Looks like firewall was rusted so bad that they had to replace it. Only reason to do that.
