  1. Time to re-home another magazine from my personal collection. This one is the April, 1994 issue of Collectible Automobile (10th Anniversary Edition) with a very well-written article on the 1949-50 Plymouth. Other vehicles in this issue include the Pontiac Fiero, Dodge Viper, 1958 International Pickup, 1965-66 Ford, 1932 Nash Convertible, and the ever-popular 1957 Chevy. The magazine is printed on heavy gloss paper and has many crisp photographs to complement the articles. I bought this magazine new at a bookstore and it's in excellent condition. The price is $11.50 postpaid in USA. PayPal is fine. Thanks for looking, Harold
  2. This catalog covers US and import models from 1987 down into the 1950's for many applications. Has in-depth data including battery cable and spark plug wire lengths. Comes in handy when making your own wire sets, or figuring out what a particular wire set fits. $12.00 postpaid in USA. PayPal is fine. Thanks, Harold
  3. My 2 cents.....The caps were surface-wiped with grease, dipped into a shallow pan of paint, and then the excess paint was wiped off.
  4. I'm thinking about selling my '66 SF convertible and am trying to come up with a value for it. The car has been sitting (mostly in a garage) for a very long time. It has a 383 with automatic, power steering and manual brakes, factory red with a black vinyl interior, and a torn white top that I think is original. It hasn't run since the late 1990's but I had it cranking earlier this year. It's complete down to the fender skirts but needs total restoration. I have a new exhaust system and replacement rear bumper to go with the car. One section of floor pan (passenger's side rear)is rusted out. I have a clear NJ title in my name, so the buyer wouldn't have to jump through hoops getting paperwork for it. What's a fair value for it? Thanks, Harold
  5. The RHD SST may not be as unusual as it first appears. The US Postal Service used RHD Rebels for mail delivery, so there was factory tooling for a quantity of these vehicles. I saw many of them at auctions in the 1970's.
  6. 1968 Body & Collision Parts Catalog: Covers 1965-68 Ford and Mercury cars and has Identification Plate decoders, interior paint color charts with names and part numbers, exploded views of all car models and Bronco with basic part numbers. The binding has a 'roll' because I kept these manuals in a loose-leaf binder and this one was wrapped around the loose leaf rings for many years.1968 Ready Reference Catalog: Covers 1965-68 Ford and Mercury car and Bronco fast-moving mechanical parts, with exploded views and basic part numbers. The exploded view diagrams come in very handy to show you how things fit together.Priced to sell at only $19.00 for the pair, postpaid by Media Rate in the USA. PayPal is fine.
  7. Joe, Thanks for your reply. I've tried searching a number of GM models on both Google and eBay and haven't seen any with the same lifting pad as this jack has. Most of them are round and this one is rectangular.
  8. I'm trying to find what vehicle this jack fits. It appears to be a GM product (guessing 1970's-'80's) but I haven't been able to pin it down. The part that contacts the chassis is rectangular and on a spring hinge. Any help appreciated! Thanks, Harold
  9. Both '67 manuals are gone. How about this..... $25.00 including postage in the USA for both of '68 manuals.
  10. This original 1954 Ford Quick Reference Catalog was designed to help wholesale parts customers to easily order parts from the dealer. Covers 1949-1954 models. Contains exploded view diagrams of body, engine, transmission, suspension, cooling, and electrical parts, with 'group numbers' to help find the correct parts quickly. Has 64 pages and is in very good condition with minor cover wear. $17.00 postpaid in USA. PayPal is fine.

    Need help!

They've been around for decades. I had a vinyl roof replaced by them on my '77 Catalina around 1983. Came out nice.

    Need help!

I'd suggest speaking with local car dealers to see if there are any traveling upholstery repair people they can recommend. I've seen some nasty problems that were invisible or barely noticeable when completed. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but there was a thread on the P15-D24 forum recently concerning issues with SMS. This was not an isolated case. A little Google research might not hurt.
  14. The title says it all. $12.00 postpaid in USA. That's only $2.40 magazine including delivery! PayPal or USPS Money Order are fine. Thanks for looking, Harold
