  1. Jason, Interesting ingo on the tool kits. Again, a few of my friends came over with their 34's the other weekend and I sussed out if they had tool boxes in their cars. Both have Richards bodies and both have tool boxes. I took photos for you as I know your interested in this. Also, where their tool boxes are located in their cars, mine has the solid steel floor. Anyhow, food for thought. Cheers Ian

  3. Back to work on the Dodge. Repaired, cleaned and fitted the timber support for the sunvisor panel above where the front windscreen will go. Also I fitted the front windscreen. Slotted straight in after I got my brother to help hold it up. Next job is to tackle the fender welt. Cheers Ian
  4. Thanks Tony but all good. This was a post that I got the photos and a second lot from you and Ken. Cheers Ian
  5. Hi Bob,I don't know if I've offered this to you but a while ago there was a 36 dodge on eBay that had a full body off restoration. The listing had over 50 shots from every angle and I saved them to my computer so your welcome to them if that helps. Just shoot me a PM. Cheers IanIan
  6. Heres one on ebay : 1932 1933 1934 Plymouth Ash Tray Ashtray Insert Dodge DeSoto Chrysler | eBay Cheers Ian
  7. Saw this and thought a few of you might find this funny. If she stuck her foot on my car I mightn't be too impressed !
  8. David, I intend to coat the front suspension components, bell housing and gearbox with POR15. Ian
  9. Hello, When I had to make this decision I did have conflicting opinions about which way to go and I can see the merits of both. When I got the chassis done it was basically two times. i.e. the blaster went over it twice, the etch primer twice and the coater twice. So far I haven't had any issues ( like Keiser ) and no problems with bolt holes. It is good however to hear what other members say and experiences they have had along the way. Plesae keep posting as everyone learns along the way......especially me ! Ian
  10. Give this site a go Cheers Ian TCP Global - Quality & Service Since 1974
  11. G'day Ed, What a brilliant find. Just think...1915. Another car saved and being looked after. I've seen car that have had thousands of dollars work on them and then just sit in a yard and rot. Its nice to see an old one going to a caring home. Keep us posted. Ian
  12. I've attached what I could find which may not exactly be what you want but will give you an idea of what is available. I'll keep looking as I have quite a bit of stuff to go through. Regards Ian
  13. Thanks Ken, I wont be able to get my head through the door if you keep that up !!
  14. Hey all, With the body off the chassis I was able to get to a few other brackets that I had seen under the car and remove and tag those. Also removed the battery holder and springs. Found a sort of foam buffer around where the petrol filler tube goes into the tank. You can tell by the rusty chassis that there will probably be a bit of pitting in the frame. I'll send the chassis off the the powdercoater as well as the running board brackets and that should be a good base. Cheers Ian
  15. Thankyou so much. I can now see which way and location of those little brackets. Many Thanks Ian
  16. Hi Steve, that makes sense re your posting. I've progressed quite a bit. Just scroll back through this thread and you'll see what I mean. have yours progressed further ? cheers ian
  17. Okay here we go. I have 4 original sales brochures / booklets that I own and I've photographed and I will post each one seperately so I don't get them muddled up.
  18. Hi all, Not much done this weekend, but this weekend was priceless for me. Ken and another friend Tony came over to have a look at the work I'm doing and they brought their 34's. It was like the 3 Amigos. I was able to take photos and ask questions about a number of things. Even though they are 34's the differences between mine and the Richards Body cars is very interesting. Ken even gave me a cap being part of the 34 Club ! My wife thinks I'll need surgery to remove it from my head.
  19. Hi Knobless, Maybe I'm missing something but how much is what ? Sorry, I'm confused. Ian
