  1. Thanks for the quick replies. I own a '89 2.2 that caught on fire. I was looking at the '90 on e-bay. I'll be telling my fire story soon.
  2. Can anyone give a quick take on the 6cly engine from the '90 TC auto w/overdrive . I understand these are not turbo's. Was this an option over the 2.2l from '89 ?
  3. Talking about rubber...anybody know where I can get the trunk gasket ? I tried STEELE RUBBER PRODUCTS but they don't sell for "imports". Joe 47
  4. I've tried to get it from Karen since I became a member. It used to be advertised in the club store. Not there any more. Unless I'm mistaken. I would have bought from Karen,I was on her list, just like I buy from you when I need parts. Anyway, it's done. Please set let others know, is the leather still available?
  5. Got my arm rest recovered. This was done by Fryer's Auto Upholstery Kits, Marysville, WA 306 652 4794. Not an exact match... a little darker shade and the leather does not have the higher sheen that ours does but I think its a good match. The work was expertly done and I consider this another project out of the way.. Only %$%$#$$$ to go.. After making countless calls and visit to shops who tell you that you have to buy the whole hide in order to get the leather..Fryer's did it and for less than the club was advertising. Cost me $175.plus shipping. If any one is interested he will send a sample of the leather to you. www.autoupholsterykits.com rcfryer@hotmail.com
  6. Haireek Same problem. No owners manual. Still waiting for some help. Anybody ?? Joe47
  7. Cheek Can't find the one for 30.00 on ebay, but there is one for a '90 for over 100.00. He can keep it. Hope he has fun with it..
  8. I have the blue service manual. I'm looking for the owners manual that usually comes with the car in the glove box. Thanks for the tip on ebay. Joe47
  9. Looking for the owners manual that came with the TC. Anybody with an extra or a copy? Or a place to buy? Tried many Web sites for autobooks but have not found it yet. Thanks Joe47
  10. Anybody have the leather or know where I could get it to redo the arm rest in my '89 ? I have a guy that will do the job but I need the leather. Have been waiting for Karleen thru the club but she tells me that they are not doing them over any more. Joe47
  11. To RoyalScottish Have a '89 TC fun car. New to the car so I don't know to much. But...ask me about the Wagoneer. I had an '89, few years ago. I liked the way it looked so I bought it. I don't want to trash Chrysler products, but this car was a big mistake. I don't think they knew what this car was suppose to be. An early SUV ,station wagon or truck. The car swallowed gas and the tranny was a disaster. Many problems with accessories and hardware. I know the car was old, but it did'nt get there gracefully. Stay away. Joe47
  12. Hondo I bought my TC from a guy in East Meadow. Don't think it was the same car. Sorry I missed you at Republic. Did see the Daytona . Was there when he landed. What a car. Frank told me that the club has one member with a TC. Finally got my parts ordered from Larry. Still need help with the odometer, does not register. I know there is a fix from Larry but I have not taken it out yet. Anybody know how to set the clock on the radio? Tried all the buttons with the set button but ng. Joe47
  13. Jeff & Jim I went Sat. to Republic. Was the only TC there. Met Frank, president of the Mopar Power Club, nice guy, the only one to come over to the TC. Told me about the club, seems nice, family orientated, but..the TC was probaly the only car under 200hp. Even a '42 Dodge had us beat. Anyway , it was good to see those muscle cars from the sixties. Good idea if we meet sometime. Would like to see other TC's. By the way, I might be the yellow TC you see in Baldwin, although my neighbor has said he saw one on Grand Ave. and this was before I got mine. Could there be two yellows in the same town? Joe
  14. Hi JIM... Missed the 8/16 meet... just saw this message today. I don't check this fourm every day. I'll try to come on the 20th at Republic. Also, I'm a member of the club, joined just after buying my TC. I found the parts I was looking for thru Larry Carlson . Let me know more about the meet on Sat. Thanks Joe47
  15. Thanks Jeffn for the reply. One thing I forgot to list was the muffler.. Been to local shops.. and PEP BOYS, no listing in computer. Any one know where I could get one? Chrysler dealers here are no help.
  16. First post. Bought a '89 2.2 Yellow, beautifull car. I'm looking for the center wheel embelem , need one. I'd like the owners manual, I have the service manual. Can't set the clock on the radio, anyone know how? Speedo..meter works, after replacing the fuse, but the odometer does not register. Bought the car this way. Changed the rear shocks w/ KBYs' made a difference but the front bottoms when you hit a hole or bump. Is this the struts or the springs? Also, kind of clunks when you first shift in to D or R. Any help with the parts or my questions would be appreciated. Thanks. Joe47
