I converted all of my Buicks to Pertronix electronic ignition. No points, no condenser, no problems for the last 20 years.

To register a car in CA: Contact the CHP and have them come out to your place to verify the VIN. Go to the DMV with the CHP VIN verification and tell them that you lost the title (pink slip), the registration and the license plates. They will issue you new plates, pink slip and registration. Easy peazy.

What method do you use to remove the heat riser?

Here is the manifold set I will be shipping out to Adam tomorrow. Came from a low mileage Century and is one of the nicest sets I have seen in some time. No large pits, all studs are good, the automatic heat choke pipe fitting is clean and good and best of all the butterfly is free and works perfectly.

That is for a 1956 Buick. The 1955 is smaller.

Re: Shock absorbers. Fill them up to 1/8" below the top of the cover. This allows for heat expansion.

I need the linkage that operates the transmission kick down. It goes from the bell crank on the carb to the modulator on the tranny.

I make the carburetor base plates and they are twice as thick as the stock ones.
