I have a 1954 Buick Special 4-door sedan and it's the best running car I've got. I have owned it for 33 years and it only has 35,000 miles. I wouldn't sell it for anything!

A few years ago a friend of mine bought a 1957 Pontiac Bonneville at B-J that looked great for $70,000. When he got it home it was full of bondo from the ground up 20" high.

He spent another $50,000 fixing it.

The temperature of the transmission fluid is dependant on the engine temperature. So, if you are running a 195 the tranny will be running hotter than a 180. The cooler the tranny runs the better off it is.
