Shop manual says to readjust the anchor pins when installing new lining.

I have 3 collector cars and my California annual registration is going to increase $65. each. I don't even put $65 worth of gasoline in them in one year!

Did you readjust the anchor pins when you installed new linings?

I took my stock 4 barrel air cleaner off. I replaced it with a 14 inch round base and cover with a K&N 13 7/8" x 4" filter . You need an adapter to go from the 4" carb opening to the 5" base. All this stuff can be found on the internet. Easy peazy.
I wrapped up the stock air cleaner and put it in inventory.

I took my 1956 Century out to town (15 miles away) and cruised around 60 to 70 mph. It runs so good that I can't stand it!

I love '56 Buicks. They're great cars. I am on my fourth one.

I have a 1956 Buick Century Model 63 and it's a great car. It only has 58,000 original miles. I drive it like a stole it and it keeps on going. But it's not for sale.
When you find one look it over and drive it.
You'll like it.

1957 Buicks were not supposed to have wire wheels.

I took out my 1956 Buick Century today for a 50 mile trip. It runs so good that I can't stand it. Hit a max of 70 mph.
