  1. Really liked this survivor car before restoration in its original monotone dark color with black wall tires rather than the big white toilet seats on the wheels now.๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  2. I'll see if I can get a couple pics of the car next week. Thanks, Jim
  3. Now that I have a I-Phone and new computer, I have to figure out how to post pics now. Thanks, Jim
  4. Here's a link for more info on the fancy lattice diamond X design Whitewalls. These are tires made by Falls Rubber Company called the "Roadmaster". and not Vogue. Looks like the dealer in the photo sold both Vogue, and Falls Cord Brand. If you go to the link below from the old motor you will get the history low down of the company and a closeup pic. Enjoy https://theoldmotor.com/?p=146478

  6. I have the factory fold-in luggage rack braces on my 34 LaS.Club Sedan, but I am missing the rack deck. Sure would like to find on of these. Thanks. Jim
  7. I believe these tires are "Falls Cords" with the X design.
  8. Hi guys, just a question of what should be done to a all original car as far as presevation. I have a mid 20's Packard, all original paint, leather, under 50,000 miles. My question is dirt and grease on the engine, tranny, firewall, frame, springs, gaiters, front and rear axles, etc. Is it ok to remove the grime from those area's, or should I just leave it alone??? The engine crankcase is aluminum. Does the AACA, CCCA, Packard Club, Pebble Beach, shows, etc. prefer these items untouched with 95 year old dirt, grease, or clean it without removing any of the old paint, etc. Maybe if I remove the grime from the aluminum crankcase it might stick out like a sore thumb. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks, Jim
  9. I remember seeing this wonderful Rollston Packard many years at Hershey late 70's-80's by the old blue field near where the calliope was pumping out wonderful sounds.
  10. The Roadster with the couple in it might be a 31-32 Hupp with that unusual razor edge front cowl where it meets the doors???
  11. Otto, please call or reply to this message on this forum. Thanks, Jim Fredrick, Roseville, MN. Phone number: 6five1- 4eight4- 11eight4
  12. Sure would like to find a Packard roadster top boot like the one in this photo. 1926-1929, 6 or 8 top boots are the same.
  13. You can lead a horse water, but a pencil must be lead. Stan and Ollie
  14. Too bad you can't say the same thing about airline passenger's now, compared to the classy passenger's in the photo back then ๐Ÿ˜ฎโœˆ๏ธ
  15. FYI Restorer32.....The top boot as well as the top material is long gone. Replaced by a metal California top from a junk 32 Chev coupe during WWII. I have the top irons and bows. I want older material to match the patina of the car in its original roadster form!!!!
