  1. I have a 1990 TC with ginger interior. I am looking for the driver side seatbelt cover that covers up where the seatbelt mounts to the floor. Mine has torn. If anyone has a ginger one, please let me know that and how much it is. Also, I am looking for the front fender center stainless steel trim piece. Anyone have one of these? Lastly, I need a new front license plate bracket. You can email me at oths2005@hotmail.com ! Thanks!
  2. I was very excited to hear that there were fellow TC owners in the area. It'd be nice to see a brother or sister car on the road once in awhile. I'll have to keep a lookout for ya. My TC is a 1990 black body with black soft-top and ginger interior. By the way, don't you just love how people look at your car when you're siting at stop lights or making turns? Anyway, I'd love to catch up with you some time and see your car. I've been working on restoring mine a little at a time. The biggest problem I'm having is the leather. I've used leatherique faithfully, but my seats are still fairly hard and I'm not sure what to do. I guess I'll have to wait until this 16 degree weather is gone so I can reaply it in the warmer sunshine and see what happens! Happy Holidays and stay warm!
  3. I was just curious. I've heard there is a TC running around the St. Louis area. I live on the east side of the Mississippi river, about twenty minutes from downtown, but I have never seen another TC. Anyone know of any in the area?
  4. PREVIOUS POST: I have a TC, and I have a stubborn film on the inside of my windshield that I can't get rid of. I've tried window cleaner, and vinegar and water and neither one cuts it. The window cleaner helps, but it still remains but kind of smeared. I have done some research and found that it is probably resulting from the car sitting out in the sun, and thus, the sun baking these oils out of the interior, leaving an oily film on the windshield. I have also heard that it may be because of the AC unit giving off an oily vapor. Does any one else have this issue, and if so, how do you fix it? I also researched an older mopar product called crystal wipes which were supposedly designed for this type of thing, but they don't seem to be manufactured anymore. By the way, I am wondering if my use of the Leatherique leather restorer in the past could be contributing to the problem. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated! NEW ADDITION: I took Jeffrey Backes's suggestion about trying Goo-gone, but I still can't get rid of the film. Again, it helps a little, but the film still remains! Any suggestions are appreciated either here or through my email at oths2005@hotmail.com . Thanks!
  5. Hello. I have the same problem. I tried and tried and it would never work. So I looked it up in the owners manual and I couldn't find anything either. Then one day, I got it to work! It turns out the ignition switch needs work. There is something broke inside of it that makes it very difficult and sometimes, impossible to turn it back. I've been told the only way to fix it is replace it. Hope this helps. If you find out a better way to fix it, please let me know. My email is oths2005@hotmail.com ! Good luck and maybe someday it'll just magicly work like it did for me. Hopefully it stays working though!
  6. Hello. I had all the speakers in my TC recently replaced and I was wondering if you had got your new ones yet. If not, I have some recommendations. You can email me at oths2005@hotmail.com. Good luck! And by the way, my replacement speakers are 5 1/4" and have an impedance of 4 ohms.

  8. I broke mine last September and it took me forever to find a legitimate one, but I found one at a California junkyard finally. Then a week after I installed it, I got an email from a guy saying he had one. I already had mine, but I got his info in case anyone became interested. His email is John.Dudek@dana.com ! He told me it is an original and he'd sell it for $100 plus shipping. Give him an email. Good luck and hope this helps!
  9. Where did you buy the light bulbs at? I couldn't seem to be able to purchase them at the dealership through Chrysler. Would I have to get them at an Autoparts store? Also, how much did they cost you? Also, are you sure that they wouldn't burn up the headlight housing? I've heard some horror stories. One more thing; do they widen the field of view?
  10. Hello, I have added a LeBaron cupholder to my T.C. I worked on it with someone else; however, so, I'll see how much I can remember. If I remember, we sanded down the tabs I believe on the top of the cupholder, and I think we may have made the tracks that the cup holders slide in a little bit longer, so that the cup holder will come out farther than it was intended to. Don't cut out too much or the holder will not be stable. Just enough so that it will clear the leather bezel enough to slide a cup in. If this doesn't work and I get the chance, I'll check with who I put it in with and ask what we did exactly and get back to you. It turned out really nice! Also, if you get it to work, you might not want to slide the cupholder all the way in when you're not using it because it rubs on the leather bezel somewhat. Just push it in enough so that it is out of the way. Good luck! Hope this helps!
  11. Thanks so much ghostymosty! I finally found a top at that place in Calif. and have put it in. It turned out really nice. Thanks for the referral! I looked for 6 months before and had had no luck. Thanks again!
  12. Has anyone tried the new Sylvania "Silver Star" head light bulbs, that Chrysler sells, in their TC? I was wondering if they make a considerable difference in brightness.
  13. I'm looking for an original TC rear window to buy to put in my soft top. If the seller does not want to separate the window from the top, I would be willing to buy the whole soft top, if it is black. I'm hoping to get one soon. Any offers are appreciated. I can be emailed at oths2005@hotmail.com .
  14. Is there any way that I can get the soft top window from you? I really only need the window. My top is in great condition, but the window blew. If so, how much would that cost? If not, what is the condition of your top and how much would you take for the whole top. You can email me at oths2005@hotmail.com ! Thanks!
  15. Can I get the soft top window from ya! I've been looking for one and am interested if its still available! Please email me at oths2005@hotmail.com ! Thanks!
  16. try and push the up and hold it in or the down and hold it in. sometimes you just need to make sure it goes all the way down or up before it goes the opposite way. That's weird if its not making noise though. Just a suggestion! Also, is the key on. I dont remember if it has to be but you can check that too. Best of luck!
  17. Anyone have any suggestions for ways to get better visibility and brightness out of the headlights in the t.c.? I've heard of many people burning up the headlight housings by putting in the new style of lights. I've also tried to purchase the new Chrysler Silver Star bulbs that have recently come out, but supposedly, they are not available for the 2 beam setup of the t.c.'s headlights. I've also checked, and the lenses are pretty clear, unlike some that become pitted and foggy. Any suggestions? I can be emailed at oths2005@hotmail.com . Thanks!
  18. This past summer, I began to have a minor problem with my convertable top fitting in the tonneau cover. Most of the time it would fit, but once in a while it would stick and sit a little tighter than usual. I was driving on my way home for a quick 4 minute ride when all of a sudden I heard a giant boom! When I got home, I discovered that my convertable top rear window had blown. It has been really upsetting and I've been looking for a window for the past few months. I've come across a couple, but when people at the junkyard tried to remove them, they ended up blowing them too. I can't find any aftermarket windows to fit, and would really like to keep the window genuine Sicursiv. If anyone is selling their window or possibly the whole convertable top, I would be very interested as I hope to have one before the weather warms up in March. I can be emailed at oths2005@hotmail.com . Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
