    Reattadude?

    Did you try www.buickreattaparts.com
  2. The grills have 6 or 8 plastic post that pass through thr door panel and are attached with nuts nat from flat pressed sheet metal. if the nut is sticking up for can remove them with a wrench. If they are reversed I haven't found a tool to remove them. Either way you need to remove the door panel to remove the grills. I have been able to remove the speakers by just prying the panel bottom, sides & middle pins leaving to tops attached. Be sure to remove the door pulls and plastic bevels around the door handle. You should have enought room to get them from the bottom.

    Radio Problems

Send it off to John. Cost about $50 - $60 to fix. Have it back in less that 2 weeks. John at Precision Radio 12134 Colwick San Antonio, Texas 78216 210-979-0905 website: delcorepairs.com
  4. EBAY Item number: 8061870549. Don't know where you live but I wouldn't let them ship it. I'd check it out before paying and take it myself. To many are broken during removal and/or shipping.
  5. I have used two places, Precision Radio and M&R. Precision fixed a radio. Their price was good and I haven't had any problems. M&R fixed a radio and a CD player. Their price was a little higher but when I got the CD back it was updated and now plays CD-R and RW. Both of these formats were not available when the player was manufactured. 7. Try M&R Electronics at www.mnrelectronics.com. They will idscount the repair if you send both and the cd now plays the cd-r and rw formats.
  8. Try Steve Pierce at spierce64@sprintpcs.com . His price to repair these is around $100.00. He fixed mine in two days a few years ago and it's still working.

    Sun Visor Clip

The last email I received was on 9/15/2005 and read: I am sorry to report that I still do not have very much interest. I know that Mike Rukavina is going to advertize them, and we hope that will push us over the top. Right now, I am looking at about 1/3 of the needed orders to put this to the numbers I need. Russ Van Wyk
  10. If you still need help I live in Cockeysville. Send me a PM with your number and I call you.
  11. With the latch in the closed position and the key out depress the metal pin on the top rear just behind the face of the latch. With this pin depressed insert the key. The pin will now stay depressed. Turn key clockwise to the 4 oclock position and remove key and latch. To reinstall insert key and lock, making sure the pin on the rear of the cylinder lines up with the slot in the sliding locking bolt in the latch. Turn counterclockwise to the 12 oclock position and remove key. the metal pin will release and the lock should function normally.
  12. Are you trying to play a CD-R or CD-RW? The R/RW format wasn't around when these stock cd players were built. I sent mine to M&R electronics for repair and updating. When I got it back it now plays the R/RW disc.
  13. What year is your Reatta? The window problem is probably a broken regulatorthat need replacing. The headlight motors need rebuilding (new roller bushings if you can hear the motor working). Not a hard job to do yourself. The starting problem could be a few different things. The cylinder mechanism could be worn. The metal rod the runs along the bottom of the steering column from the lock cylinder to the starting switch could be worn or bent. The starting switch might need replacing. The first two options are difficult to fix and you might want to leave it to a pro since it involves dismantaling the steering column.
  14. I thought this happens when the freon funs low. It protects the compressor by going into econ mode.
