Jeff.I mounted mine on my 1940 century under the passenger rear door.Out of sight and out of peering eyes works great there 5yr no problem no vapor lock.

Grant you say when you assembled the engine.when you did this did you balance the moter? I say that because when i rebult my 1940 320 engine i didn't listen to my freind and didn't balance it.Same problem I called doug seybold (440-835-1193) and (after i told you so)He help me fix 95 percent of the vibration by putting small bolts in the flywheel to offset the balance.it still vibrates but i can live with it till next time i rebuild it.I am not saying that is your problem but it was a quick fix. good luck.

Ron i brought a 6volt fan for my 1940 centure from a place in RI he advertised in old cars weekly about 2 times a month.After doing everthing that was memtionedit still ran hot at very slow parade speed.Anyone who knows me knows i drive mine all over this beautiful country up the highest mountings.Point i am makeing is when i hit the fan switch it cools it down to 180degres from190.so what i am saying while you are theare put the fan ON.

N C.what rt are you taken? I will leave ma sunday and drive to cary nc and pick up my brother and leave monday.his 1996 roadmaster is stored up here in my garage.I plan on stoping in the cleland area overnight (he can't ride to long) mabey we will chatch up to the CAROLINA ROADMASTER convoy.

Remmembering this is a B C A event that members work very hard for us to have a great buick time. Please do not think I am speaking about anybody in particular just have a good time.

Okay okay I know. Been off the form for a while and I forgot how to bring a picture up and added to my letter. I know I have to be retrained all the time but at my age I forget when school is. So I suggest you go to the dollar store, general dollar, are you grocery store. Most cards are two for a dollar and their made in America. So save a American his job and have a great Valentine's Day.

Well up here in Massachusetts you are better off with vanity plates. If we put antique plates on the car by law we are only allowed to use them on Sundays are to and from a parade. Vanity plates are little more expensive but there's no harassment with them.
