  1. Thanks Keiser, I have almost all i need already. Ordered directly from US of A!
  2. I'm rebuilding one at the moment. It seems to be worn out, that the cylinders needs to be drilled to 030 oversize. After this, is the balancing necessary? Did they do it for factory engines ? This will be in 100% stock use, no races or anything like that.
  3. Thanks again for helping me out on this one. I should get my classic home in couple of weeks, so I will post more information then. :-P before that, I keep you all excited
  4. Well, this topic might have been here before but let's give it another try. Just took this photo couple of days ago. That is considered an old car already I think, but it gets about 300 miles/every week
  5. Hah, thanks Bob! Yes, I do have the stainless trim. Thanks!
  6. Keiser31, a stainless? It has a vinyl roof. I don't quite get it what you mean
  7. Just received pictures of my car (which is currently in Florida) from my brother. The was a major dent in passenger side front fender and it was taken to body shop. They decided to paint the whole car, which is still ongoing. Also they are replacing the vinyl top. I hope they get it finished this summer.

  9. Thanks for the replies guys. The glass lens i'm referring to looks this. (see the picture attached) It's from 1935 Pierce-Arrow.
  10. Steve, the headlight lenses I'm referring to seem to be non-existant. Restorer, thanks for the info. Any ideas what kind of process is that and who might know more on this?

In Finland we have to do that too, though it costs ~$70 /year. (+exhaust fume measurement cost) So it easily goes over $100 / car / year.
  12. I've seen new repro taillight lenses (plastic) and NORS headlight lenses, but has anyone ever considered reproducing NEW headlight lenses in glass ? They made them earlier, so it shouldnt be impossible. Is there someone out there who does them?

  14. Wow , great Max! Congratulations! In case you need any parts for it, I'd bet that Finland is one place to find those. There were lot's of Pobedas in Finlnad during 50's and 60's.
  15. Wow , what great photos and cars! Please, let us know about the progress!!

But, you were serious! Hey, they didn't use A/C back in the 30's, so I don't think it's a MUST accessory in todays world either!
