Hello, May I kindly ask your help? My brother (29 years) has decided to get work in automotive industry in US. Any ideas how to proceed? He has bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering(4 years) and is currently working at Nissan Motor Car Companys Nordic European HQ as a Warranty Coordinator. Anybody know anyone who could help? The owner is crazy. He's always drunk is very hard to deal with. He's in another world. He said he personally DROVE nearly all the cars in a field in the 60's-70 and left them there for dead. Many are rusted beyond repair. But there still many parts cars. It will take about two weeks of walking 5 hours a day to see all the cars here. Plus many of them are so buried in overgrown trees and prickers there is no way to see them. I seen a dozen complete 392 hemi cars. This guy refuses to advertise, so nobody knows about it. Believe it or not the guy is still buying cars and driving them in the woods. The last time i was there the owner bought a running 60's mustang and drove it in the woods to be left for dead. Some people may see these pictures and see this and think this mess is illegal, well it may be, but the state is aware of it and they have ordered him to clean it up. He is cleaning it, just very slowly. He is 70 years old and when he dies or goes fully blind (he is almost blind) The junkyard will be taken over by the state and over 20,000 classic cars will be destroyed. I do not have the owners phone number. He will sell parts or cars, but is hard to deal with and if you go there he will usually walk you to the car you need parts for if he's not too drunk. He will not let you wander around the yard by yourself to look at whatever you want. I know I will get endless emails about this so I will give you all the info I have right here. Thanks Susan, well, it was on Ebay (surprise!).. Some antique-furniture-shop from Missouri was selling it. It has 24 carats leaf gold on leather John, thanks for suggestion, I have a 1 option to use, if it doesn't work.. then we'll see. Thanks!!!

You should try to search "Negative","HIM" and "Nightwish" from youtube as well. They are finnish also. I guess one of the most popular finnish bands of all time were "Hanoi Rocks" (with Michael Monroe). They have pretty good stuff. I guess Hanoi Rocks my all time favorite of finnish bands. Not QUITE like Sinatra though.. !!

Wes, I have heard (in Finland) that he does NOT DO ANY MUSIC nor PERFORM anymore !! But I can be wrong ( I can be mean as well I have my Blue eye's cd's !!! Even though I might like Dino more.. ) . I remember seeing an article on a local magazine(finnish) that also- atleast - 1 Moskvitch was imported to US in the late 50's. The article was printed in late 90's and the car was pictured as a project car in California. - Sorry - it's a different car, but russian made as well.

I'm still 29 !!

OK, got the car to Stanton. So no longer transportation needed. Soon it will be on it's way to FINLAND

Thanks Barry and Tom, That's a Gibson Les Paul Standard with VINTAGE sunburst finish (fits in my ideology?? the older the better ) I bought it when I was 16 or 17 with money I earned from summertime job .. I have never succeeded to save so much since (got a '65 Fender Twin Reverb amp also!! )

John thanks for reply. I have thought about that one too, and that thought is still ... well . .. just a thought. I do have a chair, but you have a point there. I think that I should first get the desk and then think about the chair, although I already have one.. (see the pic)

I don't know where else to ask, except from you guys (& gals) I'm in a point in my working career that I need a remote office at home next year. I have always wanted a nice leather top antique-style executive desk. There are some manufacturers in US, but is there a place that sells these used? I don't think that 3000+shipping bucks from a desk is too much, but i'd rather used it on my cars And if there's some scratches etc, it doesn't bother me. I was thinking something like this: Desk on eBay or see the attachment on this post. Or does anyone have a desk for sale ? Thanks!
