The price is very negotiable. The $49k was what the owner thought it was worth. I tried to get him to be more realistic. All offers considered. Car is nearly 100 % complete.

Had a similar problem with an MGB years ago. Turned out one of the rear shocks was a bit loose on the frame. Drove me nuts until I figured it out.

I'm convinced. I'm sending the '33 Packard Conv 100% complete "project car" I have been trying to sell to the scrap yard. At least I'll get a couple hundred for it.

I have a very rare Packard "Adonis at the Well" mascot. Perfect original condition. Also known as the Packard "Sliding Boy". It could be yours for the give away price of $10500.00 including shipping. I know it's worth much more but wife says it has to go. She needs space in the cabinet for her very valuable collection of Hummel figures and Beanie Babies.

Dad advertised his tire business at the local drive in movie theater. Consequently he had a tall stack of free passes which I helped myself to quite often. One night a thick fog rolled in making it
impossible to see the screen. The theater owner came on the intercom and said because of the thick fog he would refund the ticket price to anyone who wanted to leave. Strangely almost no one left.

Many years ago I spent a Summer doing archaeology at the Biblical city of Ashdod, Israel. Yea, the same area being fought over now. As an antique automobile restorer I do consider myself an "Industrial Archaeologist".

Get the metal to the right temp and the torch burning just right and lead spreads like butter, even on a vertical surface.

He helped my Brother get a court ordered title for a 1949 Triumph convertible. Took time and money but we appreciate what he did for us

We still paddle lead in the few instances where it is the best choice. Getting harder and harder to find the correct alloy stick lead.

Restoring/replicating the Barrie Bell was a monumental task. All they had to start with was a body and a grill shell. No drive train, no frame, no interior, no fenders, no hood.

Who owns the '17 Bell we restored now? We lost track of it.

Be happy you do not have a 1958 Cadillac Brougham. We will be repairing one that suffered an engine fire that destroyed the dash and associated wiring. New harness? $ 12,000. Don't take a chance. Replace your harness.

In my home garage sits a disassembled '48 Buick woodie and a '55 Jag XK140 Drophead that I drove while in college 53 years ago. Still has a '69 PA inspection sticker on the windshield. Ran when parked in '69 and has not been started since.
