As soon as I read that line, I had to read it again to see if I was going nuts
2003 is a tough one to beat.

Thanks for the compliment, Brian.
I need to make some room for now, and decide what I want to do here in the next year....with everything. I have a tentative plan, but it will require both cars to leave - and I'm not sure I want to let the convertible go.
Know of any 71 Formal Coupes coming up for sale?

It's grounding out somewhere. Follow the wiring and locate the fault.
-
That's crazy...bummer you were let down like that, Derek.
-
Steve - likewise with meeting you, finally. It's nice to find someone who appreciates these cars as much as I do. Folks around here like that are almost impossible to come by.
You know where to reach me!

I think the family did the right thing by letting Hyman get the cars. I would've had a problem if they had shown up at any other dealer in town.
-
You got that right, Mike.
I would've done anything to get the 60 to Rochester this year.
-
-
All his Buicks are on there - 56, 58, 60, and the 62
I guess they found the right guy in town to sell the cars. Hyman usually gets a good penny for the cars he sells....mostly catering to people who have nothing better to do with their money than to buy a "classic car."
Greg, thanks for the kudos on the work I did with the car. It hurts to see them all for sale like that. I was offered first dibs on any of the cars, but I cannot afford what the family was wanting for them.
I hope they go to a good home.

It's now 100+ here in St. Louis, and I didn't fare too well in it today. Been sickly all day...
Time for bed.
Friday is supposed to be nice again. Tomorrow will be worse than today.

Is that Jay Leno's Toronado I see?
I'll take the 58 Limited and the 61 LeSabre vert, please.

Mike, it was great meeting you! Did John Williams ever talk you into joining the BDE? He threw a hell of a sales pitch at me at the bar that evening, but I just don't have the time or resources to do something like that. I would if I could, that's for sure.
Glad to see you all made it home safely, guys!
