George,
My bearing book covers the late 1920's + early 30s Dodge trucks but I can't find the U133 or Merchants Express.
There is a UG30 + 31 listed [as well as the other models].
Is the Merchants Express based on the passenger car or is it a full sized truck?
Cheers

The front wheel is at a funny angle. Or is that the camera?

The one in front is a Pierce Arrow.

One of the old car mags recently ran a full story on it.

I don't know where to purchase it but my old Timken bearing book says:

Inner 909004
Outer 909003

Pic 9
In the car pic the 3rd car is a 35/36 Ford coupe.
I can ID the cars facing forward but I would love to know what the black early 30's sedan is with the wire spare wheel and a big light on the rear bumper??

Why is there a big square sprinkled over the cars? [or is it the pic?]
The sedan right at the top back could be a Hudson/Essex.

There are heaps of pics on Google of 1932 Essex Terraplanes.

If u check the question, Crabby asked about
"Other models (35, 36, 37 & 38)" as well.
I understand he meant with 35s. But the only commonality [with Dodge doors] I could find in my book was what I mentioned.
1935s seem to be loners [according to my book anyway] and 37 and 38s may swap over.
Apart from that Oz bodies were different from US.

I had a feeling it may have been steamer as well.

My book shows similarities in some 1937 and 38 Dodge doors.
Some coupes and sedans have different doors as well even from the same year.

Of the DM my Used Car ID Guide says:
1932 DM 4 cyl 21.03hp 3-5/8 x 4-3/4" Floating power engine suspension. Free wheeling. Automatic clutch. Redesigned emblem on radiator. No head lamp tie rod. Double drop bridge frame. Tyre size 18 x 5.25 A.O.C.
Don't know what AOC means.

Pointy headlights started about 1927. This has the older drum shaped lights.
The spare steering wheel and col appears to be about 1940 Ford.
Is there a front axle? If so front brakes arrived around 27 as well.

In the 1930's Roadsters & Tourers were still available in Australia.
TJR built them up to about 1935 I think.

For the 68-9280 Fuel Gauge, I can't find it in the book but 9280 is a petrol gauge and 68 is the no for 1936 and possibly 37 models. A pic would help with the ID on this one.
The others beginning with B are from the 50s and C from the 60s.
