I never post on the forum but this time felt it necessary. You need to give AACA a shot. I have been involved with AACA showing cars and going to events since I was a teenager and was always welcomed with open arms. I have found members of AACA don't care what kind of car you have, or how old or young you are, they are just glad you are there and share the same interest. In addition, they are always willing to talk about their cars and help. I am now 49 and share your opinion of Concour Events. They always seem to be more concerned with how much your car cost, what you do for a living, and that you have on the required blue blazer and white slacks. Stick to AACA events and you won't go wrong.

Want to buy 2 1938 Ford Front Fenders, a grill, and a hood. I am in the process of restoring an old stock car with racing history from the late 1950's and need these parts to finish restoration. 1972 AMC Javelin Drag car. 460 Ford Engine. Car was run at different tracks in PA during the late 70's. All parts are with car except the engine to revert back to an orginal 1972 Javelin. The car is not tubbed or cut. Also, has a new a NOS hood that goes with the car. It has a split white vinyl top and is painted Plum Crazy. The codes show this to be the orginal combination. 1922 Model T Center Door For Sale. All wordwork is complete, and body has been media blasted and some of the metal has been primed. Car is complete including glass. The only part that I found to be missing is the steering wheel. Running gear painted, and motor turns freely. I have a 1908 Sears Model J that I run and use in its current condition. I am thinking about restoring the car to show condition and need some pictures of the orginal horn, and also need an orginal body for the car. The car was re-bodied in the late 1930's according to the previous owner, and I would like to find an orginal body to restore during the restoration process. Hopefully someone can help. Wanted: Parts for a 1910 Oakland. Currently restoring a 1910 Oakland Model 25 4cylinder and missing a lot of parts. Need a Remy High Tension Magneto and linkage to engine, a Remy Coil Box, hub caps (plain brass), a horn (double twist for a rt hand drive car), brake rods, carb, king pins or a source that will make them for me, and also looking for 4, 33x4 black wall tires.
