I cooked my tranny when I was stuck in my driveway in the snow, when it was cold it didn't shift right until it was warm, tried some transx worked for a while, prob seals internally. Worked fine for and then same systems of not shifting just my 2cents

T-15 if I remember rite

I'm working on a 90, the oil guage shows 1 bar sometimes 2, I am far from my manual and using my phone and searching is a real pia. Can someone tell me where I can see the pressure in the diagnostics, how hard is it to change the oil pump? Thanks

sounds like the belts are the problem

brake switch wasnt making contact, cleaned and adjusted and all works ok for now

have an 88, i suspected my lock up wasnt, changed the trans this past weekend( for another reason), noticed the same lock up wasnt, did the test in fsm, probed the ecm orange connector pin c10(if i remember correctly) should have bat. voltage with key on, no voltage, before i change ecm, can i supply voltage to that wire to make the tcc selonoid work?

will the ecm from a 90 work in an 88? have another 88 ecm that i cant locate at the present time, can get to the 90.

have thought about the o rings seals, want to get the a/c working again, main concern for the moment is getting it done before it get any colder outside.

had a couple days hiatus, doesnt seem oily but could be dried by now, i have one from a parts car that i replaced it with, is not a fun job, a/c hasnt worked since before i bought it, they bypassed the compressor with smaller belt, probably finish it up tomorrow, have the plastic cover back on but cant seem to get the bottom all the way back to the firewall, think it is the drain tube but will get a mirror down there to see. got my hand in the blower hole a couple of years ago with a eyeglass screwdriver and cleaned some of the fins but not much room and didnt seem to help. Barney's idea is a good one if the crud is loose. that 05 is definately worse!

I know this has been discussed before about the lack of air flow form the vents, finally took the plunge and pulled mine out and all i could say is wow!

finally changed my front turn signal bulbs on my 88, the fr. rt. parking light does not light( the left side work fine), manual says to check relays, park/turn resistor, says the resistor is behind headlight. can someone tell me exactly where it is located. thanks

i have a similar problem, my pod lights usually dont come on when i turn the lights on, i lighty push on off button and wiggle and they will come on, and then some times the will work mormal. just a thought

I must live in a low demand area, advanced and a zone dont carry them bought 1 at napa last year 10+tax. nearest pepboy probably 70mi., thanks

I cant seem to find the 890 bulbs around anymore, are there other relpacements anybody has used, will the 37.5w bulbs work or are they to much watts? thanks

I checked the azone and found several different, with would be outlets close together like reatta and other farther apart, 90 camaro w/v6.

that probably explains why the blue one was broken, put blue interior in a couple of months ago,been 5 yrs since i wrecked my 90 so havnt used pass throughfor awhile. thanks

the latch was broken on my 88, took if off and decided to take the one off of my 90, latch does not lift, dont know if it is broken,dont see where it would be(tan one), am i missing something or how is this supposed to be?

i put my cd changer under the center armrest, took out storage box, try still fit on top so you could not tell, was a wired unit, had control on ashtry, this was prob. 5 yr ago cut antenna wire at radio(this was a 90) worked fine, sometime this past summer found antenna adapters an bestbuy(the one by me installs radios etc.) not sure if they all do!, but they had adapt. for small gm to big antenna and vice versa.

do the bulbs come out of the socket? cant seem to pull them out.
