Order the print from the museum and have them made.

Ed, do you know if those years match for Pierce and Studebaker?

I recall seeing this post last year...Now that my mom's model 55 is at the painter's, it appears it too is missing the center hinge. Rex any chance you have another?
Sorry John don't have another.

I might have some also. But my parts storage system is pitiful.

email sent. Get gaskets from Olsons.

I did respond. You did not appreciate finding a new part for a car over 90 years old.

I'll check stock. Should have good ones or new.

An early attempt to solve death wobble. It can occur with any straight axle car. Many early SAE papers written on the problem. Hitting a bump on one wheel can send the shock to the other wheel, then get passed back and forth. If you ever have it happen you will never forget.

We corresponded back in april of 2014. You bought all of the Antique Studebaker clubs back issues available then. The one posted here must not have been one available then. You can contact the author of that color article. He lives in your area.Rex -

That disc looks ok. But if you are concerned you can have it rebuilt at https://www.southbendclutch.com/ when you are here for the national meet. They usually take one day to rebuild and have done dozens for me. About 5 miles from fairgrounds.

I am lucky enough to have a nice range of cars, including Lincoln roadster, LaSalle roadster, Packard
roadster, Marmon roadster, even a Rolls and a Cad 16 roadster. My 31 Stude President Four Seasons
roadster is a great car. It runs a 9 main bearing eight (aka Pierce), has a fold down windshield and
low drop doors and a low top when down, but also has window as a convertible coupe does. It is
very easy to drive and is capable of freeway speeds and long distance touring. For the price, it is
a wonderful car. I highly recommend them.

Your car when finished.

Is this just one?
Henry, I think I have a NOS one in the box that matches this one. I'll check.

This is the cable I use from Mcmaster carr. Battery Wire, 600V AC/DC, with EPDM Outer Insulation, 2/0 Wire Gauge. You can order new ends from them also.

No the wire off the generator is the cause of the starter kicking in. To disconnect the startex you remove the wire on the top of startex and tape it off. You need a wiring diagram and the startex book.

Looking to buy king pin kit for ‘35 Commander

Tom, I think I have a set, but locating it is the problem. Also there are many bushing suppliers that will make the bushings to your specs. And if lucky with the pin size you might be able to buy the shaft from mcmaster carr. The thrust bearing is available from bearing suppliers. I'll look.
