There is a right and left. They all have the lens on top. And there is a stamping and a cast.

35s had vent screens but were welded on. It must have been a extra option.

Contact Mr Quinn. He had the spec sheets on all the motors I've done.

Get cork gasket and washers from Olsons gaskets. Use a flat washer on the copper washers that Olsons supplies to keep the bolt from damaging it.

Paul the guy, who needs to take the old valve out, has ordered a new one. I will get a better idea when I see it. I like your idea. Thanks.
He should not need a new plunger. It is hardened and in a casting. Just has to clean out the bore and wedge something into the plunger to pull it out. Never seen a worn one. Sorry for the crappy photo. Look in shop manual.

That hole is so small any drill bit that would catch would break.

McMaster-Carr has every size known too mankind. Sizes are sold in minimum quantities but remain very affordable and you'll have plenty of extras.
Not the same type key.

I use modern seals and a speedi sleeve. I have a cr-skf book I use to look up what I need to update. If you don't have a seal book use this. https://www.skf.com/binaries/pub12/Images/0901d196807662c1-810-701_CRSeals_Handbook_Jan_2019_tcm_12-318140.pdf

Chris, This had to be a engineering after thought. At first I wondered how the hell to get around the steering gear box. It goes under the steering box so it must be under the tray. It's been 11 years ago, so I don't remember the tray. But I won't ever forget this goofy pipe.
