I like the V/T as well . They look great in my opinion but also they are rare ! The V/T was only available in Black and came out as an option mid year 65 . The correct V/T trim is hard to find , I just bought a set for 300.00 just in case I get another car some day ???

"Then find some guy whose arms are only about an inch in diameter and a very small socket and hope he doesn't drop anything trying to take them off."
Tie a string around the wrench you use to take the fender script off - if you drop it , you can fish it out .

Welcome to the Radial Tire Club ! You are not alone !

Joe , you have brought up a very good point ! I have been working on this issue for about 10 years now and continue to do so . At one time it was a mandatory deduction - that eliminated the possibility of winning a Gold Award . We got the mandatory deduction dropped but the 4 or 8 point deduction is still in effect . I sent an email to our new Head Judge a few days ago re this - one point was that in the O class in Portland most Rivieras had radials ( 63 65 ) alone . There is a message being sent here ! I would imagine it would be the same in other classes as well . I agree , it is a safety issue . Perhaps proponents of Radials should let the Administration know how they a feel about this ! In my opinion I think The Judging Team is considering Change - Lets help it along !

Mustang Project makes a sequential kit for the '67 Riviera. If enough interest was made, perhaps they could come up with something for the 63/64 and 65.

If you have only one relay the clams will open and close with the key off or on . If you have two relays they will only close with the key on . One or two relays are mounted under the fender next to the battery .
