1. Hi Mrsim88,
I do have the parts you are looking for. Give me an email at jfinn@computerpro.com

    Power Antenna

I ordered a new mast last week p/n 22038195 and just last night I replaced it in my car. Everything worked great. The new mast comes with a nylon band attached to it and at the end of the band is a metal hook, that hooks onto a 2 1/2 inch round gear. This gear is then driven by a pinion gear attached to the motor. My guess is that your round plastic gear has some teeth worn off of it. I have 6 Reatta parts cars and have the gear available but I would suggest taking yours apart first and making sure that is the problem.

    Wing-Window

I have 6 Reatta parts cars and have the vent windows for both sides as well as most other parts. I can be reached at jfinn@computerpro.com
Jim
  4. The other day I was disassembling a door to ship a mirror to a fellow, and when I removed it I saw that it was a heated mirror. I assumed this was not the original mirror for the car as the connector for the heating element was not hooked to anything. I did wonder what other car this could have come from with the same mounting as a Reatta.
Two days later I was removing some parts from another '89 Reatta when I noticed that the connector for a heated mirror was there.
( I had removed and sold that mirror previously and not noticed that it had the heating feature.)
My question is---- Did Reattas come with heated outside mirrors, and if so, how does a person turn on and off the heat?
  5. Back before I had any parts cars I too went to a junk yard and purchased a set of air shocks from a Riviera and put them on my car. I put some valve stem adapters on and filled them with a little air and it worked good. The person I was talking to in Chicago, I believe said he purchased the car new, and still has it. He said when he turns on the key the light on the dash comes on and stays on until the compressor shuts off.
I know the IPCs are the same but I wouldn't think the wiring would be in place to run the compressor and turn on the dash light unless it was from the factory, or someone went to a lot of trouble to install the wiring.
Now on a seperate post I'm going to ask about heated mirrors?
  6. I have a total of 12 Reattas, 6 of which are parts cars and I was talking to a person in Chicago who has a Reatta with the Electronic Level Control in it. He has the complete system with the compressor mounted on the axle and the light on the IPC telling him when the pump is running. None of my cars have this option and I have never seen it on any others. I was under the impression that this was a Riviera only option but now we are wondering if it was also available on Reattas.
  7. I was contacted by a person in Maui who was looking for some Reatta parts for her slightly damaged car. If you send me an e-m at jfinn@computerpro.com I will give you her e-m address and maybe she will sell the car. I do have the parts for the car.
  8. I have several perfect vent windows for Reattas for sale but I also have one that is slightly damaged on the rubber trim, so I thought I would sell it at a comparatively low reserve on eBay. The window and frame are in good condition but the rubber trim on the main window side of the vent is damaged. Possibly someone with a broken glass can use this glass and frame along with their trim and the instructions on a separate post in this forum to make a good one at a very reduced cost of a perfect window.

    Bracket

Pat, I have seen Speedways reproduction licence holders and they appear to be very nice. That would probably be a good place to get one. Jim

    90

    Hey, Pat.
A'90 coupe went through the auction up in Rogers yesterday. Red/grey with 90,000 miles. Sold with an if for $ 3100. I didn't buy it. Jim
  13. Sorry I can't help out on the bladder for the lumbar support. It may be difficult to find, or expensive, as you would have to find someone with a ripped seat that they would want to part out or buy a whole seat in good condition to get the bladder. I do have a pair of bad seats for parts but they are not the 16 way style. Jim
  14. Several people have been asking about the black inner rocker panel moulding with the "Reatta" script on them. I have 2 rights and 2 lefts and would sell them for $ 40 each plus $ 3.20 shipping.
  15. Please give me an e-mail. Jim at jfinn@computerpro.com
  16. I heard back from Peter and am looking forward to having the group come to Duluth.
The folks from the Minneapolis area will be leaving Champps in the New Brighton area about 10 AM and traveling to Duluth, arriving at Grandmas restuarant in Canal Park at about 12:30 for lunch. Anyone coming from a different direction is very welcome to meet us at Grandmas. After lunch we can take a short scenic trip to my home by way of the Skyline Boulevard, over-looking Duluth. I have 10 Reattas in various states of repair or more like dis-repair, as well as several other antique and collector cars.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Jim
  17.
I haven't heard from anyone via e-m or telephone about the trip tomorrow. Are you still coming to Duluth? Would you still like to stop at my place? What time would you be coming? Do you know how to get here?
Thanks Jim
  18. The cars are located in Duluth MN. and I can e-m pictures if anyone is interested. I have removed the front fenders, headlights, parking lights, and bumper on the '89. The radiator and A/C condenser are still on the car and in working condition. Some straightening will be needed and then the new parts, which I have, and will go with the car, will need to be installed. Jim
  19. I mentioned that with my parts for sale I had repairable Reattas. I would sell 2 of them as is.
1991 89,000 miles, black with a tan interior 16 way, sun roof, and CD player, it also has a hands free ATT cell phone in it. The car was hit slightly in the right front and has been repaired. We replaced the hood, right fender, headlight assembly and the parking light assembly. It still has the original front bumper and cover which were not damaged. All that is left is to give the car a complete paint job. I would like $ 5000 for it as is.
The second one is a 1989 22,000 actual miles from Utah. The car is silver with a grey interior and has the 16 way seats and the original Reatta floor mats is excellent condition. The car was damage when it was only a few years old and has been in storage ever since. The car lot drives and I will sell it with all the parts to fix it. I would like $ 5000 for it.
  20. I have returned from the east coast vacation and can continue shipping parts. A couple of people were interested in wheels and centers. In about a week I will be putting 4 wheels and 4 centers on eBay in separate auctions and will notify those interested when the auctions start.
Thanks Jim
  21. I have a used but good MAF I would sell for $75 plus $3.20 shipping. I have 4 Reatta parts cars.
  22. I will be on vacation traveling from Duluth MN to The Fall Carlisle PA. swap meet and be unavailable for e-m or parts shipping between Sept 21 and Oct 2 Thanks Jim
