Dan~~
If you mean that we Europeans like these high gas prices: You are wrong!
Just before Easter the prices increased and a lot of people here in Germany made trouble so that the prices dropped down today. We have here the problem of the very high Dollar, so it is no wonder that we have here high prices for gas.
The people and Auto Clubs (ADAC and AvD) here do a lot against these high prices but at the end we have to pay what the want or we will have no gas in our tanks.
If you are interested: Price for one gallon of premium gas is at the moment: $ 3.75 in Germany. The highest price we ever had.
Tom
------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA

We recently bought a restored 1908 Stanley Steamer Model F touring.
The problem: The owner has never driven this car and has no idea how it works. This is our first steamer and there is always a big "?".
Where could we get a copy of an owners manual?
Tom
------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA

Nice things what you all write here. Gives me a real good feeling for a transport from Wisconsin to Newark/NJ. Price is $ 875,- in an enclosed trailer. Should be ok, or?
Good luck with your transport, Rick.
Tom
I am looking for a 1931 Buick 4door Sedan. All series but large would be nice. A 1930 Buick 50 or 60 would be fine, too.
Only in a very good shape. Professional restoration. In the same condition as it was new. No rest work. Perfect mechanism at engine, gearbox, brakes and so on. And...for a nice, correct price, of course.
Please contact me direct via Email: Borch1090@aol.com Thanks!
Tom

------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA

[This message has been edited by ThomasBorchers (edited 03-29-2001).]

I agree with Tod.
6 Volt worked fine as the car was new. If the terminals/connectors are all like new or in a very good condition it will work fine with 6 Volt. I have only 6 Volt at my 1912 Cadillac and the lights are really bright.
Tom

Mark~~
Westleys works great. But the best product does not help if the black rubber came through the white rubber. Then you can scrub as long as you want with no success.
Try Westleys.
Tom

Allan~~
Can you send photos via Email? If yes, send some to thomas@vintage-automobile.de and I will post it to the internet so that everyone can see it here.
Tom

Hmmm, I must say that I like the current colors. It is good for the eyes. Better as blue or red or so.
Tom
