The only thing the project coupe has is an empty dash shell. No fenders, grille or anything. Hello, i am the caretaker of this car for the last couple years and looking to attempt to obtain ownership history prior to the 1980’s. Anyone here that knew or talked with Don Samuelson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin regarding this 1937 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe Restoration he completed? Any information regarding the car or history, stories, photos, old emails etc would be greatly appreciated. Don has passed away but i was able to talk with his wife and she said he owned and restored it for over 30 years. I have a service tag in the glove box from “Coberly Lincoln-Zephyr” in Hollywood, CA at about 60k miles. From online research it appears the dealer was around 1938-1950ish but nothing else to go by that i’ve found yet. Of course a VIN check isn’t really helpful being they didn't have National VIN but dealer stamped numbers. Is there anyway to get a hold of service records from Coberly Lincoln-Zephyr in Hollywood, CA? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 41' Zephyr 3 window coupe project, Clean/clear Montana Title. Body sanded down to metal, have 3 fender skirts need restoring. No interior except dash shell and front seat frame. $20K for Zephyr rolling project or $24K for the Zephyr AND 57' Olds J2 Rocket triple carb engine & 39' Cadillac Lasalle 3speed transmission. Separately I also have a 4-71 blower set up with intake and multiple carb adaptors for either 2/4 barrel. This engine/trans set up is more of a traditional hot rod route.
