  1. Roughly 750 square feet and it came in around $6200 with free shipping/freight. The wife and kids helped install it. It was a very rewarding weekend project.
  2. Good day to all! I am slowly working through the bugs on my recently purchased 1952 Chieftain. We love this car! Next up is the convertible top. It appears to be all original and completely stock. When I hit the switch the motor works and it will move the top, but not very well. I can tell it's a fluid issue. I topped of the fluid reservior, which is behind the back seat, and it quickly leaked out the passenger side of the car. The top worked very well as the fluid leaked out. So that's a good sign. I'm guessing either a cylinder or a hose. I have read if it's a cylinder is best to replace both at the same time. Any words of wisdom before I start taking things apart? It appears I will need to pull the interior trim at the quarter panel to gain access, and perhaps the back seat. Is it easier to remove these items with the top up or down? Any advice from someone who has done this before is appreciated. Thanks!
  3. What an amazing journey and repair log you have shared with us here! With me being a "newby" to these Pontiacs you have gifted us with a-lot of information here for years to come.
  4. Are you still in business? I called and got voice, left you a few voice mails and not one return call. Are you a store front? I can't seem to find your email or address.
  5. Yep its not your normal race deck. Its the "Smoked Oak" and I can't be happier with it. Check out the link ; https://racedeck.com/racedeck-garage-floors-and-tiles/smoked-oak/
  6. Race deck here for me. I have a few squares left over I will place on top when using jack stands ect. I've done two part epoxy before and it was nice also but chipped and lifted too easily.
  7. I would love to talk to you about this switch! You don't answer when I call. I guess your not serious about selling this part??
