Thanks! Seemed to measure 7/8 & that doesn’t seem to exist. Need to have main seal replaced and I’m hoping they can figure it out. Until then, I have a 7/8 hole as a breather. Can you believe someone could sell a vehicle as a 1-2 with a hole in the engine?!

Nothing like that. On vacation. Will take pictures in a week and perhaps you’ll recognize what I have. Who knows, perhaps not original.

67 Riv missing passenger side breather. Looks to me like 7/8”. Couldn’t find so tried 1” and way too big. Believe they are originals. Please help with correct size and, if possible, where best to look, please? Thanks for your continuing assistance. . . . You may not know how much it means.

Thanks RivNut. Visited their website and could not find a comprehensive “replacement”. Sorry but I like driving it and appreciating the design. . . Yet farthest from being a mechanic. Do I need to get a comprehensive list of parts and order them individually?

After lots and lots of time and money, it appears the answer is flat sides on tires from sitting prior to my purchase. Have driven it hundreds of miles and not much better. Unfortunately, replacing like new tires and hoping this clears up vibration. “More news at 11”.

Need to change 67 Riviera from R12 to 134A. Hoses are all cracked & system is ancient. Can’t locate complete replacement system. Please share your knowledge/experience with suggestions.

Tires are radial. Shop placed wheels on hydraulic machine which checks for roundness. When out of round, they heat wheel and compress it back to round. They and previous shop said vibration is definitely coming from wheels. . .wrong vibration to be drive shaft, etc. really frustrating. Cosmetically, a beautiful Riviera. Mechanically. . .not so much. Oh well, I’ll address everything and will be as good as a 67 can be. Thanks for you help. As you can tell, I’m a non-mechanically inclined enthusiast. Hoping you enjoy your day!

Had wheels checked today and they’re fine. Wheel people feel it’s the tires. Tires are Coker BFG red lines the seller said were purchased about 1 1/2 years ago. Does anyone know whether Coker tires are usually good, please?

The entire vehicle seems to vibrate beginning at about 45 and becoming severe at 65. Took it to a highly rated firm who performed other repairs and they feel it’s the wheels. They indicate by balancing more completely they’ve eliminated front vibration, however, indicate rear still an issue. Isn’t u usual to have all wheels out of round? Picking up Monday and taking to American Polishing & Plating who claim they can repair. Wheels are original and in very good cosmetic condition. . .so do not want to replace. Thanks for your comments and concern.

Yes. . . .4-5 weeks ago. A few things needed attention and I’m not handy so it’s been with mechanics. Exhaust, original manifold returned, new radiator & some tiny things. In Las Vegas, so having windows tinted next. It’s in very nice condition and I plan to drive it some. Thanks for your interest and help.

Can 3.42 replace non GS gears, please? If so, what does switch entail? In reading other posts is there a better way to employ cameras which is less invasive than mirror?
