Yes thank you ,I hate when work gets in the way of our hobby, With these tires being on back order for more then a year .I did not want to take a chance of not getting a set. And as crazy at it was I actually recived my tires today ,

Well, I just ordered a set of Bias Ply tires from Cooker as they were in stock,on sale, and free shipping (yes I did find Summit offered almost free shipping) I am supposed to get them tomorrow , Talk about fast shipping , Although they are not the exact side wall Cadillac had on the car. they are the correct 900-15 that was on the car wen it left the showroom , I found a correct side wall but it was a L78 Bias ply and I never heard back from Stan if he would excuse the tire size for the perfect side wall, So I went with a Perfect size instead as suggested, Chances are if Your not a Cadillac lover you would never know its not a perfect match . the tire I need was a 2 year only design 67 & 68 , and in 1969 and on it became the L78 size. .29 inch smaller in over all diameter . if any one needs tire Cooker is have a sale till the new year Ill post pictures once i get mine Thank you ever one for your input on this , Look forward to meeting you folks at Gettys burg if your there

Sorry I am not sure of your questions , BUT I purchased a sign from AACA to display with my car ,I Love it. The fellow Jonathan who creates them is a pure pleasure to deal with and very creative. I use it at any car show I go to. I also feel its promotes the club to other folks when you are at other shows. Ill see if I can post a picture of mine. I Just updated mine to include my the junior I won in Hershey this year and i am waiting for it to arrive. I may even see if johnathan can make a sign for me to explain what the badge mean on the grill as I am asked at other shows what it is . And let me tell you I am very proud of may badge and love to explain it to others. I edited this post as these are my AACA signs I use at every car show. One tells the story of my car and the other tells the story of the badges . I keep AACA aplications in a folder in my trunk to get folks to sign up and I have flyers on how to order a sign that I share with AACA member I run into . I am suprized how many member did not know about the signs

GREAT I am looking forward to the show, I booked my room, and I am hoping there will be an opertunity to go to a judging class, Do you know what day it might be. We booked our hotel for arriving on Thursday

So from a recently new member, I have a questions . When are we able to register for the national events that are currently posted in the events section. When I log in to register it gives me an error code saying there are no files. Is this just me? When will I be-able to register? As some may know I just was at Hershey and my pants are on fire looking to get into the next show and go to judging school

And yes I am taking this advice also and look forward to the judging school and voulennteering to help out at the next shows I attend

Gary I just went thru this at fall hershey with so many questions and concerns , the folks in AACA are great my neighbors at the show whom were competing for the same awards ,and even the folks in a differant class behind me helped me so much, along with a fellow I met decades ago on the CLC . PM me and I give you my cell to chat. Our car took a Junior at Hershey and I am excited about getting it to Gettys burg PA for the next show near me. I do want to bring it to a Cadillac event and I can use all the advice I can get ,but there are none in resonable travel time till 2024 .Iam regret full as memebers of our local NNJ Cadillac club made the trip to the last national in Chicago and I did not . Iam Looking forward to taking to you, I order the AACA judging guide and was lost. After entering my car in the Hershey show I now better understand the Judging guide. I compete in another venue, (not car related) and I am an expert in that feild and when the folks ask me how to get started I say the best way is to bring your gear enter the match and all your questions will be answered as all of the Range officers and other compeditors will walk you thru the match . I took my own advice for Hershey and entered and learned as I went. I have a 1967 Deville Convertable I just recived my authenticity guide from the CLC and thankfully I have not found any great concerns on my car except for the Tires. I cannot find a corret 900-15 bias ply tire for my car and I have sent a request out to the Judging VP to ask for clairification on with the current availability of tires what will be my best option to avaoid an 8 point deduct (I have the original spare) Rech out I love to talk cars

Pat when is it a confirmed list ,and when do the badges go out

So I found a chart on line and it tells me 8.20-15 is same as 900-15 same as L78-15 , so I found a L78-15 at universal vintage tire that has almost the correct dual strip except its little strip inside and big stripe out side , As I await the VP reply my door frame says needs a 900-15 ,if its a L78 bias is it the same thing or does it have to read 900-15 And let me say I greatly apreceate all of the input,

Ok so I caught the bug , I want to bring my car for Senior judging . It currently has a set of radials on it and I Plan on purchasing a set of bias ply tires before the next show I attend , So the question is the car calls for 900-15 as per the owners manual and the sticker in the door frame . I looked in service manuals and Brochures and found the car came with a dual stripe white wall tires , inner 1/2 " to 9/16th white wall and an 1/8 th to 3/16th outer strip .(the picture is enclosed ) 2 from a brochure and one from the tire in my trunk .I believe the tire is original . The problem is i cant find this style tire any place , Does any one know a vendor? I found a similar tire at Cooker but its not exact as it has 3 stripes instead of 2 . So the question is ,how critical is it to have the exact side wall that came on the car. is it just the correct size? I don't mind investing in tires, but I would hate to invest in them only to find out they would be taking the same 8 point hit as my radials did. Can any one give any insight
