  1. For those of you without a Toro....please consider this one. They're insanely fun and comfortable. Very underrated!
  2. Welp AZ just fried my recently serviced AC compressor in my Toro. Worked fine this morning but a poof of smoke later while driving told me it's done. If someone has one or a good lead on a factory correct and marked unit please let me know. Thank you.
  3. Someone has a nice new toy. I had my 66 out Monday when it was 110 outside. She got warm (middle of the gauge) but kept there. A/C struggled too but both me and my wife were comfortable.
  4. Might be legit but if you look around that area it doesnt seem to match the nice property in the background of the photos.
  5. https://youtube.com/shorts/pN1y8fV811U?feature=share3 video from just a few weeks ago
  6. After some very serious thought I've decided to part ways with my 1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville w/AC. This is mainly due to my shift in enjoying 60s cars more so than the 50s cars. This was a former regional show winner and everything except the clock works on the car. She currently has around 54k miles (original) although the odometer stopped working around 49k. Engine starts right up and runs smooth. Recently tuned up the engine with plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. AC system runs well and will keep you cool during those hot summer cruises. She has all the accessories less the fog lights. Currently riding on Kelsey Hayes sabre wheels in excellent condition with Firestone bias plys added about 4 years ago. Also included is a matching set of Samsonite luggage which was provided with the car when sold brand new in Phoenix.I'll take some better photos here in the next few weeks as well as post some videos. Asking 50,000 or best reasonable offer. Will not entertain lowball offers or tire kickers. Prefer this go to a collector than a dealer. Please contact me for further information.
  7. Well perhaps its a GM thing. I recently noticed that my 67 Buick does the same thing although its not as loud.
  8. Sorry for the late reply but I've been a busy dude. Here's the damage I'm referring to. It appears that the paint didn't adhere properly and its causing it to crack. Any suggestions/comments?
  9. These are fun cars but I was able to pick one of these up for 14k back in 2015 fully restored.
  10. Found out that the top pump had hydraulic fluid and it was very low. The shop fixed that and the quarter window. She now works like a dream.
  11. Hey fellas I just received my rebuilt 66 Olds Wonderbar that was made for the 66 Toro. Currently have a nonfunctional AM deck in the car. How hard is it to swap these? I've seen threads that state you have to remove the cluster. Since everything less a bulb works now I'm afraid of pulling it apart. Any suggestions?
  12. Id love to have one of these and make it a little guest house in my yard lol
  13. I wasn't thinking of respraying the entire car just the quarter panel. Overall the paint on the car is a #2 job for sure.
  14. So my 1966 Toro has developed what seems to be minor yet semi noticeable webbing cracks on the paint by the passenger rear quarter panel. They weren't there before so I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet and have it resprayed or just leave it alone. Its not detrimental but its noticeable at least to me. Thoughts?
  15. Item has been purchased and I'll hopefully have this fixed in the next two weeks. Thanks everyone.
  16. https://www.ebay.com/itm/363884258121?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D777008%26algo%3DPERSONAL.TOPIC%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20220705100511%26meid%3D98690d43c9bf40caa1273185de0348fd%26pid%3D101524%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26itm%3D363884258121%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2%26brand%3DGeneral+Motors&_trksid=p2380057.c101524.m146925&_trkparms=pageci%3A3b1bd213-d31b-11ed-80e1-4e2b0aac0c0e|parentrq%3A4da614c61870a0f28fad524cfffde9f6|iid%3A1 Anyone care to comment on this item? Price seems right and it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to install?
  17. I see that they make reproductions for the full size GM cars in 65-66 through JEGGS and other places. Are these regulators completely different from the later models?
  18. Seems like the regulator is shot. The spindle spins in place but doesnt catch. How could that suddenly go bad when it worked just fine???! If anyone has a source for a rebuilt or nice quality passenger side quarter window regulator please let me know. Id like to get this fixed asap before the weather gets nasty in AZ.
  19. Id like a prewar car but alas...I'm out of space with my current fleet of 3. Maybe if the price was right and I just bought another storage unit...
