  1. I spoke with the seller today, very nice guy. Selling for his brother who passed, car has been sitting and needs some tlc(loose steering, rich burn black smoke from exhaust, some minor paint bubbling/scratches, and some minor nic-naks not seen in pictures) but overall alot of nice car for the ask. I'm considering it but being 13 hours away is burdensome..
  2. I watched this car sell today on BaT, went for $30k on the final hammer!
  3. Not mine. Neat build. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/148090568388967/?mibextid=dXMIcH
  4. Unfortunately not, the panels are 53 skylark-only, but thank you!
  5. I would be interested. If you'd like to contact me or send more pictures, I would appreciate it. BJ 850.210.6381
  6. This is wild, I missed out on buying the mirror image of your car earlier this year. She was a bone stock beauty and I kick myself to this day.
  7. Hello, im looking to purchase some body panels for an ongoing 53 skylark project of mine. Specifically I need a set of doors, no matter how rough or rusty. Same for a set of outter quarter panels. They can be half gone, its ok. I'm sectioning them in on the upper half ideally. If you have any other 53 skylark parts, im interested too. Thank you! B.J.
  8. What is your email so I may send some additional photos. I don't have sufficient privileges to PM on here apparently.
  9. I agree completely. So what do you suppose is the issue with the tag? Do you feel its an overstamped 6 or what might your theory be? Also, for extra credit, care to give a ballpark guesstimate on as-is value?
  10. Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me out with clarification on this. I'm looking at a recently Unearthed 1953 skylark. The body tag however shows a model 78x which is different from the 76x that I have seen on all other skylarks. I will include a picture as it clearly is an eight and not a misstamped six. Any information or thoughts are appreciated.
  11. Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I need to see a few photos of the inner door structure from the driver or passenger side of a 1953 skylark. Basically, if you were to remove a door panel and take a picture of whats behind it. I need to see some references of how/where they were cut down from the factory as I am going to have to do the same to rebuild one . Thank you in advance. My email is b.layne23@yahoo.com or on here is fine also. Thanks again! B.J.
