  1. Mr. Page, The anti-squeak material is actually double sided tape that the previous owner installed since the door is missing a tab to hold it in place.
  2. Thanks! Your idea was my last plan if I can't find what originally was installed from the factory.
  3. I'm trying to find out if a gasket goes between the steering column and the bracket? As you can see from the pic I was able to stick a standard size screwdriver head in between the column and the bracket, lots of play! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  4. So Saturday I ran into my cousin at a party. His first words were, "Stop looking for skirts, I was going to surprise you before you paint your 36 by giving you the skirts that I let you barrow." He then said that he has all the moldings and locking parts but he will not give them to me until the car is almost done. I have much love for my cousin who has always looked out for me!!!
  5. Thank you Mr. Page! I guess I will be hunting for a hinge! I have never seen one for sale so I guess I'm going to have a difficult time finding one. Regards, Marco
  6. I have a question about the hood. When I open my hood it shifts to the other side, it comes of the clips. Is it only the stainless trim that holds onto those clips? I attached a few pics to show what probably might be the problem, damaged trim ends. I also noticed that one half of the hood is not aligned with the trim, is this normal? Please help me with your knowledge so I can correct this. Thanks, Marco
  7. Steve, I just called Robert's trying to order the wiper arms and wiper blades and they asked me questions that I could not answer, The length of the wiper blade, the length of the wiper arm and how it attaches. I was hoping that you could give me the part number that Robert's uses for the wiper arm and wiper blade that you purchased. Thanks, Marco
  8. Jack, That is what I saw just wanted to make sure that this is what I needed. I sent Andy Bernbaum an email yesterday asking the same question. Maybe I just like taking pictures of the way things come apart and I thought someone out there would have done the same and would share their pictures. Thank you for your help.
  9. Thank you Paul, but I already have a set of restored vacuum motors.
  10. Thanks, Steve! So just to be clear since my mind is all messed up! Does the rubber gasket, washer and nut come with the new wiper arms from Roberts or do I have to purchase them separately? Thanks, Marco
  11. When I purchased my 36 it was missing the vacuum motors and wiper arms. Today I should be receiving the right and left vacuum wiper motors but I do not know how they attach to the body. Can someone help me with pictures or a diagram? I think I am missing a nut and maybe a seal? On Andy Bernbaum website I found that he has a wiper adapter package, not sure if this is what I need since he does not provide pictures. Thanks, Marco
  12. Ruben, What's a good time to call? I see your in the Bay Area across the bridge from me, I'm in Pacifica. Marco
  13. Mr. Page, You are correct about it being very confusing. My cousin let me barrow a spare set that he has for his 36 Chrysler Airstream. I know that from my accessories catalog these are not the correct ones "different emblem and it has the lower trim piece" but they fit. The attached pics show the correct skirts shown in the accessories catalog and the other is the skirts on my car that my cousin let me barrow.
  14. I know how hard it is to find a set of skirts for a 36 and since I'm in the market I was wondering what would be a fair price to pay for a nice complete set of skirts? I have seen them go for as low as $500 "a few years back" and as high as $2200. That is a huge gap in price and that is why I am asking for your opinions and maybe someone out there may have a lead on a set. Regards, Marco
  15. Thank you and sorry for the late reply I was on vacation. I will call Darin and I am interested in the gauge decals. Send me a PM or email me directly at 36bomb@gmail.com with the details. Again, thank you! Marco
  16. I know this is an old topic but it is very confusing when it comes to the correct skirts. Attached you will see an original 1936 Dodge accessories catalog that shows the correct skirts for a 36 Dodge. By the way, if anyone has any leads on a set it would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Marco
  17. I know this is an old topic but I am also looking to restore my dash and I was wondering if you had any luck with your finding a decal or stencil? Thank you, Marco
  18. Wondering if you still have the skirts and are you willing to sell them? Regards, Marco
