  1. I'm looking for a solenoid type starter that will fit a 1937 Plymouth 201 engine, or a number so I can order one. I really need to go to a key start so my wife can drive the car. Thanks and God Bless
  2. I have seen three different dimension for the SKF seal on different web sites. I ordered two of the SKF seal and they fit at the same place on my hub as the original seal fits. The metal housing and gasket are the same as original. I'm going to use them and see how they work out. God Bless
  3. I appreciate all the information received from my post. Some great stuff. The original inter seals in my "37" Plymouth were felt. I have found two original leather seals for replacements. I have two neoprene oil seal also but went with the leather. As for the outer seals, I located one original MoPar 1064856 leather seal. Going through the cross-reference charts my son found an SKF seal 20380 that is available from Napa on special order. As to whether it will work or not is yet to be seen. Does anyone still make the outer seal in leather? Thanks and God Bless, Selmer
  4. Thanks to all who responded to my question. I've never send this before, but it does make sense. I've worked on Fords for 50 odd years but, this Plymouth has tough me a lot. Thanks and God Bless
  5. The Rear brake drum oil seal surface on my 1937 Plymouth is tapered 1/16" over 13/16 length. Both drums are this way. Is there a reason for this? Thanks and God Bless
  6. I'm getting ready to install a new Edgy aluminum head on a 201 cid Plymouth engine. Has anyone ever installed one of these heads before? If so where did you obtain the longer head studs. Also what did you torque the head too? If no one has this information, can someone tell me the thread length on both ends of a stock stud? Thanks and God Bless
  7. I'm looking for a frame to fit a 1937 Plymouth coupe. I would prefer one on the east coast. My location is in the upper North East TN area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. I'm looking for a good usable emergency brake linkage for a 1937 Plymouth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless
  9. Thanks for the reply and the link. I believe you're correct from what I've seen and have tried. Have a great day and God Bless
  10. Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. I have purchased a few skirt trying to locate the correct ones for a '37 Plymouth. Like you said, they all look similar but, have their own subtle differences. Have a great day and God Bless
  11. Thank you 1935 Dodge Van and jpage for the information. I really appreciate it. Any help from anyone on finding a set of skirts to fit a '37 Plymouth P4 Business Coupe would be most welcomed. I'll buy straight out or trade. Thanks and God Bless.
  12. Thank you for your effort and sharing the information. I guess I'll have to go looking for a set of '37 Plymouth skirts. Thanks again and God Bless.
  13. Thank you for the info. Do you know if the '36 Dodge skirt would fit a '37 Plymouth?
  14. Fender Skirt Identification Needed. Can someone tell me what the fender skirts shown below fit. I bought these for a 1937 Plymouth coupe but, these are to tall and hang below the bottom edge of the fender. See photos. Does anyone have a set to fit a 1937 Plymouth that they would sell or trade?
  15. Has anyone used the wheel shield pad sold by Steele Rubber Products, #40-0279-44. This is for the early Chrysler products 1935-1937. See photo below for reference. I'm not quite sure weather to put it on the fender skirt or the wheel well first. It does fit the skirt like I thought it would. Any suggestions? Thanks and God Bless, Selmer
