  1. For those who couldn't make it to the Winter Nationals in Miami, and to help tide us over while we wait for the next Nationals (let's hope we get to hold the rescheduled Southeastern Spring Nationals in Concord, NC, on 12-13 June), here are a few photos from Miami.
  2. A belated thanks to my judging team in Miami: Johnnie, Elysee, Francisco, and John! I hope you're staying safe and healthy. I enjoyed working with all of you, and look forward to serving with you again at a future show. (Let's hope it's soon!)
  3. Thanks to Phillip Cole, David Raecher, Louis Safriet, and Bill Webb for their great work at the Grand National. We had a wonderful team, and I truly enjoyed working with each of them.
  4. Thanks to my Judging Team in Ocala--John, John (Jack), Edward (Ned), and Louis (Lou). You guys were great! I look forward to serving with you again at future AACA National! To those who didn't make it to the 2019 Winter National, there were some great cars there. The owners should be proud!
  5. Thank you Tom, Florita, Don and Raul for being a part of our Hershey Team. It was great working with you. It was a shame the weather kept some of the vehicles from coming to the show. Looking forward to working with you at future meets. Marion
  6. We had a terrific judging team in Auburn. We still think the chief judge thought he had assigned an all ladies team because of the spelling of Wray's name. Fortunately, Wray has a good sense of humor. Despite the rain, we had a great time. Thanks to Anne, Jessica, Rachel, and Wray,
  7. Besides 150+ AACA eligible vehicles in our "Preserving the Past" part of the meet and another 100+ Mods & Rods in the other part of the show, we have several other highlights in our annual meet this year: - The AACA Library & Research Center's 1955 Chevrolet Bookmobile will be the centerpiece highlight of our special display commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Chevrolet Trucks. (As Jerry Adams said, we're looking for all Chevy trucks to participate--if you have one, we'd love to see it at our show. RK Chevrolet will have the new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado on display (new body style) and, we hope, one of the 2018 100th Anniversary Edition Silverados.) - The Military Aviation Museum will have a flight demo at 1 PM of its WWII Me-262 German jet (one of only a handful remaining in the world and one of only 1-2 that are flyable) - Hagerty Youth Judging and other youth activities. If you haven't been to the Tidewater Region's annual meet at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach before, this is the year to do it. Old cars, old planes, great people, Terry Bond is going to present a seminar (and promises great weather)--what more could you ask?
  8. We had a great judging team in Gettysburg--everyone was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. Thanks to Allan, Russel, John, and Tammy! Hope to see you in Hershey.
  9. A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful Hershey judging team. Steve Soppe (my assistant team captain), Doug Nigro, Tom Schwarz, and Bill Cusick. Each of you did a great job. You were all very knowledgeable and showed professionalism on the show field. Thanks for making my job fun and easy. I hope to see you in Philly this February or at the next meet.
  10. Here's my wonderful judging team in Auburn. Very knowledgeable. Great job, guys! Thanks for your hard work. See you in Hershey!
  11. Thanks to my judging team, too--Bill, Bob, Vickie, and Doug. Everyone did a great job--knowledgeable and shared good information with each other. (And Vickie was happy that our team allowed her to do more than just put stickers on the vehicle dash placards.) I enjoyed serving with you!
