  3. I have a friend with a nicely restored 63. It has the stock four-jet carb. When the car sits for more than a day or so, it won’t start without priming. I’m familiar with the typical Q-jet leak, but have never heard of the Carter doing the same thing. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Thx

  13. Anywayyyy... getting this back on topic. I finally got some time to do some work. Spent last weekend putting the headliner in. Working in the driveway… Low 90s… Humidity…turned out pretty good although I lost a few pounds in water weight.
  14. Looks great Dave. It's hard to find a traditional looking wheel that doesn't look too "muscle car". I might buy a set so that I can change the look on my project. The other Dave C in Ohio. ?
  15. Not “ironic” at all (particularly when you read the definition of that word). It was fully intentional. That wheel goes well with the later wheels, 65 grill and 425 / Turbo 400 from a 64. I love the interior and trim of the 63 with the improvements of later cars. Rivnut, feel free to limit your unsolicited negetive comments to other threads
  16. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty nice. Nicest wood wheel I have ever had
