  1. Carbking, You don't happen to have a fumer off one of those?
  2. Ok, do I paint the 75 master cylinder black or cast iron?
  3. Jon, Do you have parts for those? thanks Bill
  4. This is the carb that my owners manual shows for a 75
  5. Thanks carb king. I have a DB-22. What is the difference?
  6. Does someone know what carb was standard on a Model 75?
  7. They are also available from Twin-Six in polished stainless or 4140 black steel. 2" long.
  8. Based on the photo in the owners manual there appear to have clips at 10 and 2 o'clock on the pumpkin
  9. Does anyone know how this line is attached to the rear axle? Clips around the pumpkin? Straps around the tube? Nothing?
  10. Here is the right rear brake line. The tubing is easily bent by hand.
  11. Stopped by White Post last week and talked to Billy. I have new rear cylinders but fronts are elusive so I may go the rebuild route. I am going to replace the brake lines with steel since the copper coated steel looks like the original and is safer in my opinion. I am also going to use a double flare vs the original single. I am concerned about sealing. Pic 1 is comparison of original copper and new copper/steel. I am not trying to duplicate this line on the right. Pic 2 is the end flares Pic 3 is the CalVan flaring tool Pic 4 is the tool assembled Pic 5 is the flare before final forming. I cleaned up the edges of the hole with a tapered reamer.
  12. Leo, I bought 2 complete sets of rests and long pieces. Bill
  13. They look like they were sprayed black and then wiped so the paint on the higher surfaces was wiped off leaving the black background. That would make sense for a production process. That is also easy to do.
  14. That is the now almost finished '28 Packard in front of him. It is an 8 not a Super 8. Five has his own office, as he was quick to point out on our visit.
  15. Joe, wait till you see the red and black 28 Packard phaeton . Met the 3rd and 4th generation Billy’s.
  16. Tcsir, can you double check Bruce’s email. I got a bounce.
  17. Here is the cam "after" polished up pretty well. Some very light pits.
  18. Don't know if this helps. https://www.ebay.com/itm/364342225433?chn=ps&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A1tWxsqCb-RbmAE76e-6hqGw25&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=364342225433&targetid=1644837434363&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9010766&poi=&campaignid=20379440763&mkgroupid=151897974896&rlsatarget=pla-1644837434363&abcId=9316477&merchantid=8597254&gclid=CjwKCAjwg4SpBhAKEiwAdyLwvN0JLEf7uLyVC3WCumDH_d1bJQmJZxwWBGLX6WRwXhpq9Kb_4funORoCMK4QAvD_BwE
  19. Last moving part is out, the cam. Except for some staining, no pits or obvious wear. It is like someone redid the engine but never ran it.
