  1. Looks like a fairly nice red/tan example with a new dark top. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/d/fallbrook-buick-reatta-convertible/7648951563.html Here is a beautiful example of Buicks hand assembled sports car in original condition, original black side Moldings and brand-new high quality Haartz cloth convertible top with heated glass back window. Buicks bullet proof 3.8 v6 with only 78k original miles with an automatic transmission. Average miles per year is 2,354, far less than half the national average. No accidents, rust or damage of any kind! Garage kept, original factory color red is excellent (with no fading or pealing) with tan leather seats. Paint is excellent with no issues at all. Tires are newer showing little to no wear. Hidden headlights work as new. I have an extra set of (4) spare wheels and tires that can go with the car. All services preformed regularly since new, always a California car. Call show contact infoThis the best year for Reatta as they did away with the early dash readout. Car is very fast and fun to drive. Full power including A/C, power windows and power seats (both). Convertible lid fits perfectly.
  2. 3. We have some side trim and misc parts from a 1957 or 1958 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser. Sadly I can't recall which year. If you're willing to get them down from the rafters and maybe give my dad $20, they are yours. The brightwork could be in fair shape.
  4. If anyone needs this car, I've held off scrapping it. The interior is very rough. There's little to no rust.
  5. They certainly refined the look after qualifying for NASCAR. This particular car is for sale for $3000 and in NC. It needs engine work, but comes with another good engine apparently. 6. Some of you might like to see this LGN invoice posted to the LeSabre T-type group on FB. I always find these interesting especially on unusual vehicles. Note the Daytona 500 line.
  7. Interesting. Good luck with the sale. Looks almost exactly like mine except the pinstripe is a slightly different color.....and of course about 180k+ additional miles!
  8. I just noticed this Reatta Convertible for sale. It appears to be south of Abq near Belen. I would be interested if it had lower miles. I might be convinced to look at the car for someone seriously considering it. The black paint obviously has a tough time in the sun which is why I have a white one. He has another 88 Reatta for sale and I put that link below the other one. https://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/d/belen-1990-buick-reatta-convertible/7308644049.html https://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/d/belen-buick-reatta1988-first-year/7306553813.html (2nd car for sale) 1990 Buick Reatta Convertible - $3,500 (Albuquerque, New Mexico) VIN: 1G4EC33C2LB906742 Buick Reatta Convertible~1990-only 2068 manufactured. I know of only one Reatta parts company and have dealt with the owner for many years and, although we are on a first name basis, his prices are tough to handle. For that reason, I must mention, I have a storage facility in which I have stored spare doors, hoods, trunk lids, light assemblies, glass, interior seats, door panels and other items which I will sell to the buyer of each of the buyers of my 2 Buick Reattas, FOR A GREAT PRICE!I must mention, this is a cash deal! I have already received three checks from different "alleged" buyers & for those who wanna play games, CEASE AND DESIST! 9. For those in the area, I just noticed this 89 Reatta online when looking at a LeSabre T-type in their listings. I'm not near this yard, but sometimes these places have really reasonable prices. https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/locations/LKQ_Pick_Your_Part_-_Anaheim-265/recents/1989-buick-reatta/ 1989 BUICK REATTA Color: White VIN: 1G4EC11C7KB902983 Section: GM Row: 36 Space: 9 Stock #: 1265-75650 Available: 10/26/2020
  10. I've decided to sell a parts car that I haven't needed much from in a long time. It could probably be made to run, but hasn't been running in several years and does not have plug wires or coil/pack ignition module. Odometer 220k+. Pictures are in my ad below. Transmission was apparently rebuilt and shifted well. The grey cloth interior is rough. No significant rust. $350 with title. Please call me at five o 5 four nine 0 thirtyeightsixty8 or use the craigslist system. Thank you, Joel (Santa Fe NM) https://santafe.craigslist.org/pts/d/santa-fe-1988-buick-lesabre-parts-car/7638461561.html 1988 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan parts car with a clear title for sale whole. The 3800 V6 engine ran well before parking and it drove to where it is now although we've used the coil packs and ignition module. The transmission was apparently rebuilt at some point. The glass is good including the windshield. The doors, hood, and many other parts could be used. Hit at the trunk on driver's side above the bumper. The rear bumper is ok and an extra white trunk lid can go with it if needed. Please leave a message if I'm not available, thanks! (If you want the converter, be prepared to make an offer for the entire car.) VIN 1g4hp54c8jh494865
  11. I started my 90 Reatta Conv for the first time in a while inspired by this forum string, but I didn't drive it. The fuel pressure seems ok and the car seems to be doing well, but the first picture is a clue as to why I'm not driving it out in a minute.
  12. THIS AD HAS EXPIRED I almost bought this car and just decided to pass over the past few minutes. It could be a great deal for someone out there. I have not inspected the car in person, but I do have a few details if needed. I doubt the car will be for sale very long. The low mileage had me running the numbers on a 1700+ mile journey which is partially responsible for me rejecting the car. https://harrisburg.craigslist.org/cto/d/1990-buick-reatta-convertible/6582067393.html I'll paste the text and you can follow the link if it's still up for a couple pictures: 1990 Buick Reatta Convertible - $7000 "1990 Buick Convertible. This car has under 36,000 miles on it and has been kept in a garage and not driven in the winter. It is one of a very limited number of convertible made in the Reatta. Original owner was in Michigan and then bought and kept by my father in-law who oversaw the project for GM. Only serious inquiries only and please no solicitations."
  13. Congratulations! It looks like new and almost inspires me to get mine out.....my wife says, "Almost?!?!" I better get cleaning.
  14. I misread....total of 7. Haven't looked carefully enough to see if I can edit the subject.
  15. This is interesting as another potential pile of Reattas: https://duluth.craigslist.org/cto/d/supercharged-1990-reatta/6297371538.html Another one: https://duluth.craigslist.org/cto/d/90-reatta-convertible/6284053150.html The sat image shows a nice bunch of cars there and even what appear to be school buses holding parts. Could be a salvage yard of some sort, but I have seen private ones like that many many times.
  16. Very interesting one. It could be hard to track down if the seller isn't monitoring their ads. They posted another ad without details in another section:
  17. I've been watching this one for a while as a possible driver, but hard to say if it's sold because sometimes people don't take down their ad. It's probably very clean. https://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/d/1987-buick-riviera/6270454334.html
  18. That's cool! I know the humidity there isn't much more than here in Santa Fe. We dipped to 4% at times back in June and my spray paint jobs dried in a minute or less.
  19. Salvage yard cars in CO are remarkably clean imo although that definition can vary. They historically haven't used a lot of CaCl2 on their roads, but probably started to use more of it over the years. Cars in the cities will fare worse. I can sometimes put 700 mi on a car in one day so the mileage isn't as much a factor to me. It gets more interesting...this seller seems to have several more besides the blue one seen over the conv, but in different locations maybe. https://pueblo.craigslist.org/cto/d/1989-and-1991-reatta-coupes/6233086855.html Those two are in a double deep garage. Per some simple research the owner, Chris, likely has a 1928 Durant 8-80 chassis in his stable. Maybe he's on the forums someplace. One thing is for certain. If it had been kept outside instead of on those casters in a garage, it would be in far worse shape.
  20. I apologize if this was posted before...seems like a potential driver for someone. Some years back I would have been driving up there, but my white Reatta Conv is also sitting on some casters in the back of the garage! https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/1990-reatta-convertible/6278826102.html
  21. Thanks, I just started looking. My timetable is long so the more info I get on what's out there the better.
  22. I agree. I was just noticing a pile of LeMans models and GTOs on a few searches.
  23. If you happen to be selling one of these and it's a decent driver, please let me know. My budget isn't in show car territory, but one never knows. Preference is Catalina and I'll consider any body style. I'm in NM, but travel to WI. Thanks!
  24. I sold the car 30 minutes ago. If anyone wants it from the new owner, I can probably put you in contact with him. It's going to be a daily driver again I believe.
