  2. Now I am curious on why this right hand drive car supposedly made in detroit is here in the US, maybe the owner was mistaken telling me it was made in Detroit. maybe it was made in Canada and never shipped overseas, no Fedco plate or evidence of one, bum deal?
  3. Should'nt ther be a data plate riveted on the firewall with a serial number stamped on, I just noticed a data plate on Ebay for sale?

  5. Thanks Keiser, great information, I think we have a positive ID as it being a 1927 Model 60 (at least from the engine number). I noticed the article stated serial numbers were in the same location, what location would that be without a FEDCO plate?
  6. From what I found posted on this site, back in January it was stated from the engine number this would be 1926 model? Is there a clear concensous 26 or 27?
  7. Well we have a motor number H37717 and on a seperate tag is H166 then in another area it reads CWC565 29-3 Now time to decipher these. Looks to be a model 60, not sure what other info can be had from the numbers.
  8. What do you make of the bumpers, I know I have seen these before but can't remember where, aftermarket or???
  9. We are having no luck locating the Fedco plate on the dash, how was this fastened and should'nt there be some evidence of it previously being there such as old spotwelds, holes or.....?

  11. The owner is getting the engine ser. number for me, the wheelbase is 110 inches.
  12. Is there a definate way to identify this model, maybe it has mismatched headlights and engine. I will see if I can get the wheelbase from it.

  18. Thanks alot guys for the information so far, this car is difficult to get information on compared to the Model Tor my Durant. There is not much on the internet.
  19. How does one identify it as a 62 or a 72? from my understanding they both had a 6 cyl.
  20. I had the owner read me the firewall numbers/letters MOER M IND RGTRDA and on the head it's 56524-3U I guess it also says made in Detroit and has a Continental engine.
  21. How do you tell if it was Canadian or ?? (non US made) I am looking at one currently with right hand drive it was on Ebay recently? and is a steering wheel tough to come by for this model? Thanks
