The doors are backed by wood (solid shape) and some wood framing on the interior of the rear section, behind the seat, solid metal roof also. It is titled as a 31 from what I hear, owner has to find the title yet to be sure.

I just purchased this is it a 1931, 1932, or... Also when did the title "Speedwagon" start being used? Thanks
  4. How about the rear section, there are other cowls nearby?
  5. I recently bought a pretty large parts lot where I can take or leave what I want. In the garage are 3 flathead 6's believed to be circa 1934 Dodge (all the other parts were) Think it's worth the while hauling and storing these, any demand? Thanks
  6. I am bringing in a few cars to assemble, I hate to part them out when I am trying to gather the parts to complete them. These dashes came in a big load of parts I brought in.
  7. From doing some googling of images the rear section looks to be for a coupe unless the roadsters shared the same style.
  8. I think this car is a 29 Plymouth roadster, it had no doors so I am not sure, maybe a cut down coupe?.
  9. How about the bottom dash piece? also the 29 dash was it used on roadsters and ...? Thanks
  10. Just may need it picking up a 29 Plymouth roadster shortly and will check the opening.
  11. Any body seen one of these (item on the left) I was told it is very rare and valuable??? Thanks
  12. http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131474 Click on the link to check it out, I have all the photos on the Ford Barn, in 7 different threads showing 80 photos of many many parts. Price is $6500 for everything (the 1930 Model A and all the parts). Thanks Todd lakesidemetal@aol.com or 218-349-9547
  13. Be very careful even when they do send you photos, they borrow them off other sites such as Ebay. It happened to me the price was right not overly cheap but thought the photos looked just like the ones on Ebay I was looking at earlier and they were, two different sellers, different locations, same exact part. The scammers are getting smart.
  14. 4wd is the way to go and fwd with Blizzak tires the other option. Awd's have all the weight, mileage, and other.. disadvantages stated above plus the pain of consistently rotating the tires or else prepare for big expensive troubles, A lot of folks that own awd's run all season radials all year round and according to a Michelin tire study a standard fwd with snow tires just smokes the awd in all conditions. Also some awd's require some very very expensive differential fluid changes routinely.
  15. I am overwhelmed and need the space, the listing can be seen on the Ford Barn site in the Model A swap meet section, search for BIG SALE. There are 6 separate postings with photos, Price id $6500 for it all.
  16. Wish I had more money than I knew what to do with, I would buy the Packard name the old grounds, rehab and get the cars rolling again with a mixture of old styling and lines of modern cars. Bound to be a money loser for a long time but sure would be fun.
  17. Misc. Model T parts. Coil boxes, one with a key, cowl brackets, and fender brackets. $300 Thanks Todd lakesidemetal@aol.com
  18. Say I am looking for an original rash rail, the part that fits under the windshield for a 1930 Model A roadster. Thanks Todd lakesidemetal@aol.com
  19. Did you submit a bill of sale or...? Did you have to tell them you got the car from? From what I understand if you tell the DMV you collected parts and assembled the car then an inspection is in order. I was right near Aitkin today checking out junk in the woods.
