  1. Thank you, how do I find the Buick registry?
  2. Anyone have suggestions as to where I might find a set of .10 over pistons for the 1931-1935 Buick model 90. Pistons measure 3.41. ron
  3. Thank Jon, I'll keep this information.
  4. That makes the most sense and if I had the time that's what I would do.
  5. Thanks everyone for the comments. Just thought someone might know of someone coming this way with an empty spot.
  6. Anyone know of small, independent car hauler who can haul '31 Buick rolling chassis from NY to CA? Brokers all want too much money. ron
  7. Thanks guys. I think the Brasworks would be too expensive for my project. I'd check out Salinas radiator if they were closer. Still looking for a radiator repair shop that understands traditional, old-school radiator repair. Most auto repair, auto store personal can only communicate if you can give them year, make and model; useless.
  8. Any suggestions as to competent radiator repair shops in the San Francisco bay -Sacramento area? ron
  9. Reading further I see on pg 35 that all fenders from 1922 were painted black. Question; when was the last year the fenders were painted black? When did fenders become painted body color (or an optional color)?
  10. Thanks Mark, almost more information than I can understand. I'm not sure what "lower body color" is opposed to "upper body color". Were all fenders black?
  11. What color combinations were available for the '31 Buick roadster? Were all Buick fenders painted black foe 1931?
  12. Would the 1931 Buick roadster have an electric or vacuum windshield wiper?
  13. Thanks Mark, looks like the rod doesn't push the diaphragm lever all the way. I guess the rod is hardened but I'll build it up a little with weld.
  14. Thanks Pete; the line is clear but the pump does not seem to move enough to deliver the gas. Thinner gasket doesn't do the job. I was just wondering if anyone had experience with the old Buick 90 engine fuel pump push rod.ron
  15. My fuel pump (5751) doesn't seem to deliver enough fuel to the carb. Diaphragm looks ok; can the problem be a worn push rod from the engine?
  16. I need the top irons for 1931 Buick roadster; anyone know where I might find this or have one for sale?
  17. Curious; would the windshield frame be the same for the '31 Buick phaeton and roadster? ron
  18. Thank you for the input; both carriers have a 4-6 week scheduling period (then no guarantee), I am looking for an earlier pick-up date.
  19. Recommendations for reliable enclosed car shipping from NY to CA? Passport a good company but cannot give definite pick up time. Thanks. ron
  20. I can do taht Mike. Looks like $95 CDN is about $75 US. How can I pay for this? ron <greencorn@prodigy.net>
  21. Thanks Mike; The window cranks look right but I need the door handle; what are they asking for these parts? ron
  22. Thanks Chris; I'm looking for an original, the suppliers you provided seem to only have new parts and they would not match the appearance of my old car (even if I could afford them). But I do appreciate your help and response to my inquiry. ron
  23. Looking for inside door handle for 1931 Cadillac. ron
