selling a set of drum headlamps for a Pierce arrow model "80" these are the "new york" lights, they were removed from a custom bodied '26 that is long gone. the headlamps are in exceptional cond, the reflectors are there but may be incorrect, the Baush and lomb lenses are there, one has a chipped corner. I assure you this is the best original set you will ever find. the fork style headlamp bar is there as well. I do have one fender from a model "80" that does not have the fender mounted lamps commonly seen on Pierce. it is in good cond, and is avail. for sale as well.(seperatly) Price for the headlamp set is $500 I will have these and many other misl. Barney Pollard Jr. is still in the metro detroit area. I was fortunate enough to have wandered around Pollards sheds and buildings a a kid. My father and his friends bought quite a few cars from him. the welded name on the frame horns is a fact, however it is not applicable to all his cars. I am currently considering purchase of a '32 8-100 Phaeton, that was a Pollard car and has been stored since removed from one of Barneys buildings in the late '70's. station wagons often used them on the rear, it is definitly an acessory lamp avail through MoPar dealers, so it could have been used for a wide range of applications.
