    next time I know!!!!!!!

looks like this is an interchangable part:  https://www.google.com/shopping/product/12233546213484011931?client=safari&q=3849784+condenser+switch&prds=eto:1577123408043167548_0;11779056534168087816_0;3704868341308678814_0&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj28-H2q4LzAhVgTDABHfYcAmIQ9pwGCAU

checked it out today..the plug fits but the diameter does not..

  2. Hey Fellas!

received my entire refurbished AC Hose today...done by Cold Hose in FL....

could not wait to re install...high line first...then low line...just to realize: they "erased" my Condensor fan control switch!!! its gone!...damn...

never asked them to remove it...so here's the question; would it work without the switch?( UH, NO)

otherwise, they did a good job...I am going to make it snow in the TC

  3. HAHA...a ruler does not identify anything....

I was 100% sure that all of you know exactly what part this is; ....have you ever taken out the lower dash bezel ?! I am sure you all have...( sitting on the middle console...) it is hold in place by 4 clips....and one of em broke...

Yeah, you could simply tap into the factory relay behind the radio with a switch that provides the 12V instead of the radio. If I am not mistaken the stock radio will retract the antenna unless the radio receiver is being used. I don't know of any aftermarket head unit that does that. Yes, you can absolutely hook up more that one thing to the "remote power" wire. Each head unit is different on how much amperage it can handle, but we are talking about a relay, so, milliamps. I finally got mine all working, but I ended up using the stock antenna and the aftermarket mast that is out of production. So, I guess I sacrificed $60-ish on a power antenna that is now basically trash because I've taken it all apart an everything! LOL Oh well...we all learned!

As for where to put the switch, that depends on your creativity, willingness to take things apart to customize and things like that. I made a custom switch plate for my '88 Shelby Z that was hidden in the ashtray compartment, for example.

thanks, Reaper!  I will try to locate that damn relay and maybe implement a custom switch...look here : https://www.concordaerospace.com/?fbclid=IwAR2_q6OiVvtXQhOH_-COUn-h2SGI4wRIYUMMJbvfXZFEoHEDkVXb4qdCv9w

Oh, so update...I got the electronic flasher in today...NOPE! Still didn't fix the issue. I even jumpered the connectors backwards at the fuse block as the seller indicated some cars are wired backwards. Still...nope. Works great with regular bulbs. I just ordered ANOTHER flasher from SuperbrightLEDS...I kinda trust them as they know LED stuff pretty well (been around for a LONG time), even though they don't list the correct cornering light for the TC. I REALLY don't want to cut into the harness to put resistors in just for stupid LED's.

    this thing works flawlessly!

I was just going to say that it almost begs for a big screen there, even though I HATE 100% touch screens. I have pondered for years how to relocate the HVAC controls without going to the electronic ones (which my other TC is getting). The stupid blend door cable is the big issue.

do you have a link to the electronic controls?

Thank you, sir. I appreciate it. As long as the weather holds I will be taking it to a local car meet this Friday night. I've been there before with it, but not with the top down and looking quite this good.

Hey Reaper....there is one issue with my Sony head unit..it only has one blue remote out cable ( which connects to the amplified sub ) I dont even know if I can hook up 2 devices on one remote out cable....but if I would, the antenna would probably be up all the time! unacceptable....so..I was thinking of a specific antenna switch..any ideas how that would work?

I looked at a double DIN unit, and almost got one, then realized the stock location is only 1.5 DIN. I didn't want to hack up the center stack, so I decided against it. It does look good, though!

just get some 2.3 mm Plexiglass at Home Depot or Loews ( cost $5!) and cut out accordingly ...sand it with 400 grit, apply 3M adhesive, cover with vinyl or leather...done in an hour! the unit is a Sony XAV-AX 1000. ( $280 brandnew on ebay) most other units have huge swivel screens that are bigger than the entire dash.....
