  1. I know...they are hard to get....so here's a question....is there ANY WAY to somehow reverse the look of a severely "cracked" look of the corner light? there are a lot of small cracks within the enclosure...making it almost look milky....

or maybe someone has 2 great looking examples to sell?

The VIN Table has 1,009 VIN's and some of my notes indicate that some of these are either parts cars or in junk yards which by now could be crushed.

The only way to gather the number of TC's still on the road would be to access each states DMV registrations and get a count that way.  There are also TC's functioning overseas.

I can confirm the "overseas" additions, as I personally shipped two TC´s to germany...my assumption is that there are around 30 ( including my current and "old"TC) in germany...1 in France, 2 in the UK, 2 in Sweden, 1 in Denmark, 1 in Italy. would it be safe to assume that of the 7301 produced Tc´s, around 2500 might be left?

The upper number, the actual part number, is the same on both sensors, therefore they are the same calibration wise.  The difference in the lower numbers is likely the difference in date of manufacture.

Though these are both the same part number and you see a difference in idle quality, I don't have sufficient information to diagnose "acts up in idle" since I don't even know what these ( mildly upgraded) modifications might be. Would you like to elaborate?  I might ask, how and when did you acquire that "Brand-New" one with the original Chrysler part number after 30 years?  I see new ones equivalent to this number on Rock Auto, but by various other very different part numbers.

Hey Hemi! thanks for the clarification! the modification is: 52mm throttle body off of a 94 3.3 Chrysler minivan, the stock 3.0 throttle body has a 46mm bore.the new Map came from Rock Auto....just thought about this...I changed the TPS and IAC as well...but according to the original specs....if there is a big difference between these parts and the ones need for the bigger throttle body..then there is another problem as well....

  4. Hi guys!....since my 91 TC/V6 ( just rebuild the engine) acts up in idle, I was trying to get to the culprit...checked all Vacuum lines for leaks...all good...swapped the brand-new MAP with the old one and noticed a difference in numbers....( so far, it idles fine now...)  are there minor differences?  ( Hemi probably knows it....) in the pic, the lower one is the "new" one...

thanks!!! and happy new year to all of you!

Get the gasket AND use a product called " Leak-Lock" available at professional plumbing  A/C stores. It is a blue joint sealer used for gas fitting. I have used it for 45+ years on all ac and gas joints, with ZERO leaks if applied correctly.

All of my joints on my TC's AC system have it, and it works well

  6. hey there...looks like my AC ( which I rebuild completely with all new parts except for the Compressor:...) has a f%§&$ leak,,...

the inlet where the compressor is being set up with its oil is slightly leaking....

replace the whole thing for safety or get the gasket? and WHAT is it called?

  7. New Trunk Lid!!! Headgaskets, Camshaft Seal, Crankshaft seal, Timing Belt, Water Pump, Oilpan Seal, Valve Stem Seals...

36 hour job...Headgasket was gone at many locations...head was straight and no need to get it machined ( just manually worked it with 1200 grit and aluminum block - perfectly within specs now) engine purrs..and has more power..

You show us this we’re close up photo of your new lid. That threaded hole appears to be a mounting point for the strut anchor to the lid. A wider shot of that would give us all a better idea.

Would you show where you mounted the strut anchor that ripped out?

once my contraption is completed, I will post a pic!

You purchased a deck lid from a very EARLY build 89, one built in the early months of 1988. Let me have the VIN and I'll tell you the month. When you go shopping, before you buy something, ask one of the people in the TCA Owners Club!

The Forum is fine for conversation, but the knowledge is in the OFFICIAL Club. That is not to say that there aren't knowledgable people here.  You got your answer here, late.

Here is a photo of my 89 #200766, a fairly early build but with the later trunk lid strut mountings.BA947463-53DF-4A04-9C4F-DBBCA758D060_1_201_a.jpeg.edd09a063d4b75848b4166fa583f6e3c.jpeg

I would have thought you would notice the difference between your original lid and the one you purchased.

since I was not aware of the issue, I was just happy to find a lid after almost a year ( for a reasonable price) and got it painted....only then, I found out the hard way...anyway..I am fabricating a solution

  11. I did not know, that the 89 Trunk Lids are different from the 90/91..

after searching for a "new" Trunk since last June, I finally found one ( 89 Burgundy) and got it painted ( even the entire inside) and while I was trying to mount it, I realized: there is no lift support bracket!!!!! well, F$^$% me!

decided to drill a hole, screw the hinge in and it worked for 24 hours...because now, they both broke off, metal deformed and mood through the roof....

  12. thanks for providing the pics! considering the overall condition of my TC, I'd rather prefer an undamaged holder...I know the one with the one bracket would work but still, for me, it would be an eyesore...

thanks again for taking the time!

Hi, how much do you want for the spare and cover. How much for the driver window switch cover?

Hey Mikele! I'd like to sell the interior parts as a set. how about 110 for the tire, including cover, screw and shipping.
