Mc_Reatta, Thanks for the reply, I am not sure if the interior lights were on. I do know that the parking lights were flashing and the horn was blaring very loudly. I was in such a hurry to silence it, guess I didn't even notice. When you refer to the door jam switch, are you speaking of the switch down by the door hinge? I will look to see if its sticking at all, certainly been awhile since I looked at that switch. Last time I looked at that is when I was trying to get the Door Ajar light to go off. I might as well oil that up, like I do the antenna. Its just one of those things that one doesn't think that much about.

Both cars look Awesome during the day, bright as day at night. I love the lights on my Reatta's there is no other car that lights up the night as a Reatta.

If this works, you will see that I clear coated both my lens with a hint of color (what ever the color the car is), black car=black paint/clear coat. This Greatly helps in not seeing the dust inside the tail lens, and looks almost factory looking. And No I don't get harassed by the police, I think they too must think it's factory,since the car is so old, most police don't even know what the car is, let alone what it looked like originally.

Thank guys. The weather was cold, maybe 28 degrees, its a lot colder lately than it has been. Today, I disconnected the battery for a while, because it had gone off again, while I was in the shower of all places. My neighbors must really love me by now. I had disconnected the battery for a bit today, hooked it back up, no problems so far. We will see what tonight hold for us. If it goes off again, I will pull the fuse till I can look into it further, such as a bare wire or something. Thanks again for you input in this matter.

I have a question, hopefully someone here could help me with this problem My car is a 1990 Reatta. Programed to a remote, if that matters any?? Here's my problem: My alarm for apparently no reason....I am not 100% sure because I am not outside with the car when it happens. But, on Thanksgiving Day, I hear my car alarm sounding throughout the neighborhood. I go outside No One around, I reset the alarm. No Problems for rest of the day. I take the car to work on Friday, No Problems. That night at 2am, the alarm once again, is waking the whole neighborhood up. I get out of bed, reset the alarm, climb back in bed, a few minutes later, same thing. This happened 3 times in a row. After the 3rd time, I get a wrench and socket ready. If this happens again, the battery cables are coming off, and who ever is trying to steal my car, (maybe), can just have it. Its insured with "Overkill." So, off to bed I go for the 4th time, with tools on standby. This time Nothing happens. I know it is a Long question coming, but does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this? Other than some bored teenagers lurking about the neighborhood. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Sean, I only have the Cadillac Remotes AB00702T and the Buick Remotes FCC ID GLQ9Z6-1507 I use the Cadillac Remotes with my cars, like them better, buttons are bigger/nicer looking. Let me know if your interested in either.

I know of a GOOD windshield on a Maui Blue Convertible in Duluth,GA. I pulled all useable parts from this car. I didn't need a windshield, so I left it, Keith was going to get it, but as of yesterday it was still there. If you are interested, I can have the local glass shop pull it for you, to pull the window and install into your vehicle I believe it is $150 total. I would expect a small fee in addition for my assistance in getting the window for you. PM me personally if you are interested in this windshield.

I once bought a Reatta on Ebay, seller stated in the ad that it had new brakes on the car. Well, once I had the car inspected, as you can guess, I had to put brakes all around the car. I disputed the cost of my repairs on the car, based on the sellers ad. Well, I am very happy to report my cc company refunded my purchase price for the car and I got to keep the car. I then sold it for what I had into it and purchase price. American Express is the BEST!

I bought my 1990 Coupe from an original owner who was going through a Mid-Life Crisis and a Divorce, so he married a younger woman and bought himself a Sports Car! The rest is history.

If he ships the sunroof assembly like he did the cd player I bought off him, it will not work for sure. I'd go to the local u-pull-it and find one from a RX-7 for about $35.

I think the Red Reflectors on the Tail Lens should be easy to reproduce if we could find a company that makes Reflectors, afer all, it is just moulded plastic on Refective material.

Just pry the letters off with a small screw driver. It pretty much common sense.
