gm had an excellent electric car in the eighties called the ev1 before the oil companies bought them out.right now it costs 100,000 dollars to build a hydrogen cell car.if gm had stayed with electric cars they would be perfected by now.and don't mention the 'volt'which they have been talking about five years and still only goes 40 miles before its time to crank up the engine.bring back the ev1....

did you replace the module thats under the hood next to the windshield?that fixed my 89.did you check the fuses?im sure someone that knows more will speak up.

could be ethanol in the gas.i replaced my oxygen sensor and increased my mpg alot.

some people don't want to have a five quart container siting around with a quart of oil in it.i do since every vehicle i own leaks oil.

mines not making enough heat either.

it might be that some cars only need four quarts to change the oil.

btw there is a new 1992 northstar engine[crate motor?]on my local craigslist.

once i found a 500 caddy engine and trans in a junkyard hearse.i bought it not knowing where i was going to use it.i ended up putting it in a 64 chevy pickup.

there has been reatta swaps using the 4.9 caddy engine.[the one before the northstar]

daniel was the source of all my reatta radio knowledge.he told me that the later modules would interchange.

you can completely unplug the cassette player and the aux input will still work until the battery is disconected.then just re hook the cassette player to restart the aux.btw the radio also has a second set of inputs but ive never tried using them.look on the wiring diagram.

when i got my car i had to turn the ballance control all the way to the left to hear the radio,the volume was so low.i took the easy way out and used a 1994 regal module.

I have run a number of cars with just a good catalytic converter and no muffler or only a resonator. TD in MGR has a straight 2.5" pipe out of the turbo. Not unpleasant or attracts undue attention. i bypassed my muffler with a piece of straight pipe.

id use a tubing wrench.im not sure what a flare wrench is.
