  1. Here are some more pics of parts to ID, some have part numbers that I have not been able to find resources for, but many do not. 1&2.Chrome Ribbed filler piece #'s-313494-4 on back 3&4. Chrome & Burgundy Gas Cap- 5&6. Chrome Locking Gas Cap-I have a number of locking gas caps-they may be aftermarket items and unidentifiable. 7,8 & 9. Electric Window switch number on back is 5719255 10. Horn Button Thanks! DocsGal
  2. First Door handle has Pat.-161018, it has a little bit of pitting on the circular part of the handle. There is also a number inside of the circular part- a 5, I have quite a number of this style both small and regular length handles. The second, thicker door handle does have numbers-7803 and then a 1 and an odd looking x. It is in very good condition also, very shiny and almost no pitting at all. DocsGal
  3. Here are some more selections from the latest boxes of my troublemakers. These items, if they are able to be identified are for sale if anyone is interested. Notify me by PM or drop me an email if you are interested in an item and we'll work out an arrangement. First one is some kind of handle, no markings(two pics). Second is two pieces of chrome trim with no markings whatsoever(two pics). Third and Fourth are door handles I don't know which vehicles they go to(two pics). Fifth is a windshield wiper spray nozzle but I have no idea which vehicle or year it would apply to, so would appreciate any info on that(two pics). Sixth is a really odd part that I have NO CLUE what it is or what it goes to. It does have a part number on it; p/n 8054-4. I just love these puzzles because you guys always seems to be able to come up with the answers so thought I would throw in another doozie! Thanks! Docs Gal
  4. Thanks a million, Commodore! That helps. Don't even know if anyone wants these old filters because new ones are available but the WIX one is a good shelf display or conversation piece. If anyone is interested in the coils send me a PM. Thanks again! Sharon Docs Gal
  5. I actually think I have seen this lady mounted on a boudour lamp. She may have gotten mixed up with the car parts in the thoughts of turning her into a car mascot as I have seen done before. She is too tall to have been original for a vehicle mount. I have quite a few antique bronze figural lamps and there are quite a few of these risque ones that were very popular from the 20's to the 40's. She's cute, but probably better in the bedroom than on the car-not that I am biased or anything...lol. Docs Gal
  6. What make and year vehicles would this particular puller have been used on? Obviously determined by the threads/size of the axle nut but what vehicles would have used this size puller? Thanks for the explanation for those of us who have never seen one used before! Sharon Docs Gal
  7. Thank You-I never would have thought that! It is a heavy piece though so makes sense. Thanks again and I will keep my eyes peeled for it's brothers. Sharon Docs Gal
  8. As usual, you guys ROCK! You nailed EVERY one of them! Thanks a MILLION! That Mercury sure is a pretty piece of work! I just love the older emblems. The art deco look has always been a classy look to me. Any idea as to value on any of these parts, or rarity? I guess if anyone is interested they can PM me and I will research them more to get prices and will offer them here. Thanks again guys! Sharon Docs Gal
  9. This is a unique speedometer unit that somehow got boxed in a mixed lot of items that I found over the weekend. It is a Stewart Warner but I sold all my SW stuff and the SW books, so I have no way of looking any of the info up for it. Can someone out there help me identify which vehicles this goes to and what year it would be installed in? It hasn't been cleaned up so I apologize for how filthy it is but I wanted to hurry and get a pic out here of it. The P/N's on it are:SW 565-CJ and there is also, on the case, a Ford script logo and the part number FDA-17313A. The second item is a chrome piece that is P/N: 3109920-RH, There was a piece of tape on it that said Nash and that was it. The third item is this fuel cap and I could swear I have seen this ID'd on here before but I couldn't find the thread, so here is the pic. The fourth item is this gorgeous Mercury Eight emblem I found but I haven't been able to find what years this was installed on. I'd sure like to know the vehicles and years that these items apply to. All these (and a bunch more!) were also in the box of "Lucky Charms" that has had me searching with little reward. Any help is appreciated!! Sharon Docs Gal
  10. That's what I was wondering Steve. It is threaded, so I am assuming you thread it on to something but honestly I haven't a clue! Since you guys know what it is do you also know what wheels it is used on? Anything more detailed as far as info on these things? I've seen people asking about wheel pullers but never really understood what they were looking for until I found this in a box of mish-mashed stuff tossed together. Sharon
  11. Okay-I'm going to try to save some posts here and list several items here that I have been saving up in my "I'm stumped" pile so maybe you all can help me get rid of these headaches. #1- Decal looks like it says Dura-Bilt ignition Coil #2-The Decal on this one is almost gone but the last part of it says Spark in red ink. #3-Walker Oil Filter Replacement Cartridge-RC-24. There is a piece of tape that says Hudson but I don't know if that is correct and if so, what year that applies to or if it also applies to other vehicles/years. #4-Wix Oil Filter-PC-50P If anyone has info on these items I sure would appreciate it! Thanks! Sharon Docs Gal
  12. I think that this may be the end cap for an exterior door handle but have not been able to track the part number down in any of my resources. Maybe someone out there will have an idea of the vehicle and year that it belongs to. It would also be nice to have a picture of the appropriate door handle that it belongs too because I have several bread crates FULL of door handles, window winders, etc. The P/N's that I have located on the inside of the parts are as follows: 1 LH-4 4-20 THD BAAA-8165-B Thanks! Sharon Docs Gal
  13. I have two of these vacuum trunk release mechanisms that are the same part number although they are mounted on different brackets so I imagine they are installed in different year/make vehicles. What years and makes had the vacuum style trunk releases installed on them-does anyone have any resource materials on these? I have a small coffee can of these with various brackets and some without brackets. I am attaching a pic of just one of them. The P/N is P90334. Thanks! Sharon Docs Gal
  14. There is no part number on this metal piece. It looks, to me like it would be the frame around a radio face and selector knob below it but have no idea if this is the case. I'd like to find out what Year and make car it belongs to. Obviously it needs cleaned up. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks! Sharon Docs Gal
  15. Can anyone tell me what a 'Bingo Type Wheel Puller' is used for and what years maybe? I have one in a beat up box that just says early Mopar, 3/4"-16th. Have no idea what vehicles it would apply to. It is a K-D brand. Thanks, DocsGal Here is a picture: Any idea what vehicles or how I know which vehicles it would apply to?
  16. Can anyone out there give me an idea of how much to price Delco Rochester Carb kits for? I have a few of them and would like to offer them here but have no idea of what they go for. They are priced at varying prices on E-bay and other places but I only have three and don't really want to list them there. They are for years of vehicles that I am sure people here could use. The part numbers on the end of the box are faded but the below info is written on them in permanent marker Power Carb Kit #9558 - Holley 1bbl Mustang-Comet '6 cyl' 200 cu.in. #9593 - Rochester 2bbl '57-59 Chev '8' small throat Reg Carb Kit #VTR-301/723325 - 2bbl 55-57 Chev Small bore (Pontiac?) Any info would be appreciated, I may have some others laying around but I think most of these were sold in bulk last year to a guy who wanted all my carb stuff and somehow these got left out. Thanks! Sharon Docs Gal
  17. After reading the responses of some of the members here I have to admit I am slightly dismayed but also encouraged. Dismayed because the people in this club and forum are people I try to find parts for - because I want my parts to go to people who are interested in the hobby for the sake of furthering the hobby and sharing our joy in it with a dwindling group of people. Encouraged because those people who DO have ethics about the way we price and sell our parts to each other will continue to encourage others to get in to the hobby and continue to try to save as many of these cars and parts as possible, so we WILL have a hobby for the FUTURE. I HATE selling on E-bay and avoid it if at all possible. I will always offer parts to friends in clubs and people on sites that I know before I will do Ebay because they are making too much money off of MY hard work. Now I understand that some of you think that it is the buyer's 'own fault' for not being educated about their vehicle or the availability of parts but isn't that also why we have this website, this forum and this CLUB!!!! We should be extending a hand out to these people and helping them find those resources instead of laughing and saying, "What did that poor sucker pay for that part?!" I want and NEED to make some money off of my parts too, but I would not be able to sleep if I knew I was ripping people off by selling them parts that they paid way more than they were worth. I just wasn't raised that way! Maybe the market will bear your prices for a while but my prices will hopefully sell consistently over the long term and I will develop a reputation for honesty, integrity, value and consistency. My customers come back because they know I will try to find them what they want and what they need rather than make a quick, deep profit and send them on down the road. That is one of the reasons I have (successfully) owned my own business for the past 27 years and still have most of my original customers I started out with. I have spent the last several years courting my fathers old clients and trying to build my own reputation for car parts and restoration services. I would never do anything to jeopardize a clients trust in my or my father's reputation. That is what makes some of the people in this club and forum different from others and I am glad I read this post so I can recognize the difference in the people!! I'd rather be different with integrity than be construed as just another one of the high-volume, profit-driven masses! I am glad that makes me different and I hope it is ALWAYS that way! 'NUFF SAID! 18. I found the links below for complete Parts Manuals for Chrysler years as indicated. The scans are very good quality and good pdf files although all the chapters are separate rather than compiled as one pdf with many chapters. There is also a link for 1950-65 Chrysler Carb/Ignition Parts Book and the 1964 Chrysler Options & Prices. Just thought I would share the wealth of information I found here with everyone here. 19. Buick Man- IMHO-I didn't get the impression that he was shopping around for highest prices at all. He's just giving everyone here a chance to jump on parts first. I see tons of people who list stuff on here with no prices and deals get done thru pm's all the time, and he DID direct people to his Ebay store, it's just everyone insists on hammering people for parts once they post that they have something available, whether it is thru Ebay or one time sales. I see it all the time on here where people are selling cars & parts with no price listed. Half the time I don't know what to ask for a part either and would much rather someone make an offer and that gives me the option of either taking it or declining. Isn't that the way a great many people do it on here if they are unsure of the value of their item, or is it more important to fleece the unsuspecting? Docs Gal
  20. I have TWO NOS in original boxes FRAM CH-1PL replacement cartridges. These apply to early Crosley, Willys', Clark, Continental '4' & misc. baler. may apply to others. Anyone interested please PM me. Shipping from 78133. Docs Gal
  21. I have been away from the forums for a while due to medical reasons and have recently started researching small parts in my inventory again. A lot of my old links are now obsolete. Seems like several of them have either not renewed their domain names or some such reason. Anyway-the parts are not super expensive parts, but it is important that they be classified to the right vehicle and year because they are the letters and emblems that go on the vehicles. I have all sizes and all makes and models of them. I have been working on Fords and Chevy's lately but was just wondering if anyone had any good links or resources that might help me identify some of these a little quicker? I sure would appreciate any help I could get. That Ford site was great because all you had to do was plug in the part number and 80% of the time there was a listing for the part and an estimate on the price. If anyone is interested in odd letters I have quite a bit and will be posting them in the For Sale section very soon. Thanks!! Sharon Docs Gal
  22. The best cure is to try another auction service. If you haven't tried them yet, Ahwooga.com is less expensive, easier to navigate, INCREDIBLY Customer-service oriented, and ONLY driven to link up automobile market sellers and buyers. I have been suitably impressed with them so far. The best revenge against a company that doesn't provide service, is to deny them the opportunity to fail you - YET AGAIN! Go to where the new market is and where your business is WANTED! I think many of the folks here would be very pleasantly surprised with the Ahwooga site. Docs Gal
  23. I had these listed a year ago and had a few bites but they never did finalize the sale, so-here they are again! These floor mats are charcoal gray in color and are the full rear flooring. They are manufactured by Mats Unlimited and the P/N is RM-22. As far as I can tell they are cut to fit, I do not have the dimensions of the original mats installed so can't be sure. They are NOT just plain 'mats'. They are the jute floor covering with rubberized coating. They are in excellent condition in the original box. Priced to sell at $75.00! Any questions please either send me a PM or email. Thanks! Docs Gal
