Hi, My hood ornament from my 1937 DeSoto disappeared from the chrome shop where it was being re-plated. I am in the middle of restoration and now must find a replacement. Any leads or assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have been faithfully watching ebay, craigslist, emailing all over the country and calling all over to try to find one. Yes, the chrome shop is on the line to pay for the replacement...the problem is finding one. Thank you

I received this through WPC Club Email, if anyone is interested please reply to him directly through the Email Link. Ian I have a set of four hubcaps for a 1955 DeSoto in very nice original condition. I would like to sell these at a reasonable price if someone in your group could use them. I was thinking $40.00 for the set plus shipping. I have pictures but they are too big for this format. I can be contacted at this email if there is any interest. Darrell Handley

I have a pair of very nice 1942 Desoto Fender Skirts that appear as though they were never or hardly ever used. These are the real deal as they are made of steel, not fiberglass. The finish paint on the face is scratched from 70+ years of handling, as you can see. There is a light dent in the passenger side trim that hardly shows up but should be mentioned. An easy fix. The back faces are in really nice shape and even have somewhat of a shine to them. Bracket numbers are still as clear to read as ever. This is why I believe they were not used as that paint would likely be gone first.

I have a new project car, a 100% original Desoto! I am young and don't have very much knowledge on cars in general let alone this one. I am pretty good with bodywork but mechanics and electronical arent my forte. If anyone can give me any tips or help when it comes to fixing up this old car I'd greatly appreciate it. Links to helpful websites are welcome as well. Thank you very much

So, the starter relay on my 55' DeSoto Firedome 291cid, has finally gone bad. It is a 4 post relay that mounts on the fender wall. This relay is very hard to find, and costs over $250.00. Does anyone know of another relay that could be used? I have heard rumor that a Ford 8N tractor relay could work....any help is GREATLY appreciated!!! It is a 6v positive ground system.

I am in need of a rear driver side interior window frame for my 1948 DeSoto Custom. For some reason, it does not match all of the other window frames. Ideas for where to look for a replacement will work as well if none are available through this forum's members. Thanks, Nic

Hello, I have a 41 DeSoto Business Man's Coupe. I am having a problem finding someone in the Baltimore or surrounding area to seal the windshields. I bought new seals from Steele Rubber and had them installed locally. Come to find out, you are supposed to use glazing instead of poly-etc products. Does anyone know anyone up here who can help me?
