rbk
Does anyone have a close - up picture of the correct running board rubber on a 1926 Studebaker ER? Is that running board rubber available? Thanks Edited October 12, 2017 by rbk (see edit history)
STUDE48
My 1920 eh had a smooth linoleum on the original running boards. Parts book not helpful, pictures in sails ad showed a light gray color in the black and whites. Ordered gray linoleum from restoration specialties in Escondido to cover the new boards
oldcar
Stude48 is right, the correct covering for the running boards is linoleum. You can get a range of solid coloured, smooth textured,"Desk top" linoleum. Try putting "Desk top Linoleum" into your "search engine'. It is not as thick as flooring but the wear should not be a factor considering the amount of use our cars get these days. Bj. keninman
This thread left me wondering what the correct running board material is for the 29/30 Dictator? Linoleum seems to me like it would be a very slick surface but I may be mistaken because I am only familiar with the vintage kitchen floor variety. Also would you need to use Glo-Coat on it.
