Jon37 Posted September 13, 2017 Share Posted September 13, 2017 (edited) Just a reminder that the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club will be represented at the Hershey, Pa. fall meet on Oct. 4 through 7, at our trailer in the Red Field (the farthest field to the east, in front of the "old" stadium), space RNE 24-25. Sign up for membership, enjoy a cup of fresh coffee and a donut, rest your bones in our comfy camp chairs, leave or read notes on our bulletin board, and temporarily "park" that heavy generator you've been lugging around the flea market. We need a volunteers to staff the booth, and Hudsons to display. Please contact me if interested. Many Hudson enthusiasts choose to stay at the Carlisle Quality Inn, at the intersection of Rtes. 11 and I-81, near Carlisle -- about 35 miles west of Hershey. A block of rooms there has been negotiated at a discount, for Hudson enthusiasts. There'll be a hospitality room at the Inn on Friday and Saturday afternoons. On Saturday night we gather for dinner at Hoss' Steak and Sea House, a couple miles west on Rte. 11, at 6 PM; no reservations needed, just show up! On Sunday morning the 8th (the day after Hershey ends) we hold an all-Hudson flea market behind the motel from 7 AM to noon; no registration or fees, just bring along your Hudson parts to sell. If you have any interest in Hudsons, Essexes or Terraplanes please check in with us at Hershey or the motel at Carlisle. You can meet other folks with the same interest, learn more about these great cars, and maybe find a part you've been searching for.
