1965rivgs
This interior color is described as "blue" but it is definitely green. The vinyl is what I would call torquoise and the cloth was originally a medium green with metallic threads. This interior was dropped mid year and the white all vinyl custom interior was added. Both interior trims are the rarest for `65. This car/color combo has to be one of one.... Pat Curran
Tom, do you know when the deluxe white interior was added in 1965? There was a beautiful (first prize) 1965 Midnight Blue Riv GS at the ROA International Meet in Kentucky 2 years ago that was a small emblem car. The car was stunning but the small emblems were revised to larger ones sometime in December of 64 I think. Maybe the owner swapped out the interior? I had the same color combo on my 64 although the color was called Diplomat Blue that year. Pat Curran
