jeff_a
It would take me a while to find it, but I once saw a motoring magazine article on how to convert a 1912-1915 48-Six Peerless into a speedster. It was written in the early 20s or possibly late teens. The article was just theoretical, with no actual car modified, but there were diagrams and sketches. These were totally hand-built cars of the highest quality and cost and it's a little mind-boggling to imagine.
JV Puleo
True enough, but they depreciated very rapidly, about 50% per year. So, in 1922 a 10 year old Peerless was just about worthless. Edited February 1, 2015 by JV Puleo (see edit history)
